Room was nice, great breakfast, very clean. Treadmill was broken and desk staff seemed very uninterested in hearing this. Bike was okay, stair stepper was okay. Pool is very small. If exercise is a primary concern may want another choice.

Great service. Great food. Great room. Warm hot tub.

Excellent Location, close to restaurants and the college. Very clean and staff very good. Excellent breakfast buffet.

the desk clerk was extremely helpful and the whole staff were very professional and extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed for two nights, and it's a very nice property. Freeway close, but also not far from the downtown area and the University. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only slightly negative thing was that the A/C unit would not allow the fan to run continuously at night, which would have been our preference. The internet in our room did not work. We called repeatedly to get it fixed but it never was. This was extremely frustrating as we were taking our daughter to college and weren't able to access our schedules. Also, our room was very hot and stuffy and the climate control didn't work.

We only stayed a night. But the staff was helpful and the hotel was nice. Close to anything we wanted to do.

We booked this hotel on the fly between Spokane and Seattle. To our surprise it was nice and clean, the beds were very comfy. The room was very clean although the carpet was a bit dingy and the couch and chair fabric looked a bit in need of a cleaning. However, really this wasn't a big issue. I am very big neat freak and I wasn't at all grossed out […] or anything of the sort. I've stayed twice here en route to shows at The Gorge. The hotel is clean and convenient, staff friendly and willing to help. Best choice in Ellensburg.

Touring central with my son, location was great, busy hotel, a little noisy in the early evening, but calmed down before we went to sleep. Would recommend it, breakfast was great.

I've stayed at the HI Express in Ellensburg probably five times over the last two years. A few things stood out this stay as being sub-par. The first was that the television needs to be replaced or the connection needs to be rewired, as the screen would flicker along with the volume of the program. The second issue is that they only have shear curtains […] over the windows and now that the sun is coming up earlier the need for blackout curtains really stands out. Aside from that, the HI Express is always a good stay for Ellensburg and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again for all my future visits. Читати далі

I brought 2 teenage boys with us and they were well filled from the breakfast. Nice comfy rooms, and quality of food, clean hotel.

Kids loved the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. Nice to have Starbucks and Taco del Mar across the parking lot.

I haven't stayed anyplace else in Ellensburg, so I have nothing to compare it to - but I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on two separate occasions now. I doubt you could do much better in this part of the state. My only criticism is that the in-room heater/air conditioning unit is bothersome when you're trying to sleep. The hotel was extremely clean and orderly in public areas as well as the room. Quiet and at the same time very accessible to freeways and main roads within the city. At first I thought it was a bit overpriced but I am always willing to may a bit more in order to get better service. The front desk personnel was extremely helpful, especially at the end […] of my stay when I needed a bit more time to check out and come back and pick up my family after the conference I was attending. The breakfast area was immaculate and the display of food was very good to include hot and cold items. Other staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. We decided to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Ellensburg so we wouldn't have to drive far after a concert at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA. It was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel was nicer than we expected. It was clean, well-kept and very comfortable. We were able to relax, get a good night's sleep and make the drive back home […] when we were rested the next day. A very nice place to stay but expensive. The breakfast was also a nice surprise by how good it was and it was kept stocked throughout the breakfast hour. There was no need to go out to eat. Walking distance to most fast food joints and resturants. A 5 minute or less drive to downtown and CWU. Best to have reservations if any event is going on in Ellensburg. Great service! Clean, large, well equipped modern rooms. The price seemed a bit expensive when we reserved the room. But it was Memorial day weekend and we did the reservation fairly late. Arriving to the hotel around 1pm, they had the room ready for us. We were out until midnight and upon returning, they had home-made cookies hot from the oven delivered […] to our room!! (How many places do that?) This, turns out to be because we missed the afternoon cookie time. The bed was comfy and large, with a choice of firm and soft pillows. Plenty of hot water both in the morning and at night. Plentiful complimentary breakfast is served in the morning. Great spread of sweet and savory breakfast items for every diet. At the end we got a very good value for our money. This is a great location as a home-base for trips to Yakima River Canyon, Yakima wine regions (1 hour) and the Cascades. Читати далі

Very very nice room and amenities

Large rooms, very clean, good location, decent parking space for my truck and 20' long trailer. They also have an excellent breakfast that is worth at least $5 alone. Breakfast varies but usually includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, gravy...great way to start a day. You cant lose.

This hotel for the money was exceptional. It was the cleanest hotel I've seen in a long time. Very courteous staff. It has a great continental breakfast that lasts longer than others I've been to. Overall a great place to stay.

I am glad this was my freebie. The posted prices were high in my opinion. The hotel was new so everything was fresh. The staff was friendly. There are no blackout curtains so the fluorescent lights from the entrance and other nearby businesses beam through the windows at all hours making for a long, rather sleepless night.

Very clean and friendly service.
