The building was charming and perfectly decorated. Plenty of books and videos available. The staff was fantastic and friendly and helped us see all the wonders of the area. The food was out of this world, and I could not asked for a better menu. I plan on returning a soon as I can.

The owners were very pleasant and knowledgable about the area...the husband can be a bit gruff at times (especially around breakfast time) but the wife was an incredibly hospitable hostess. The rooms were very clean and cute though a bit small and the bathtub quite cramped. That being said, breakfast was fantastic both mornings...the best souffle (sp?) […] I've had in a long long time! We had a lovely weekend at Blushing Oyster and would highly recommend staying there. Very comfortable, great breakfast, perfect location, and very helpful innkeeper.

We would return to visit the Blushing Oyster if the opportunity arises. The hosts were welcoming and gracious. The B&B is historic and charming. The breakfasts that were served were delicious and unique. This Bed and Breakfast was a very lovely place to stay. It was charming, clean and very relaxing. Sue and Jim are wonderful hosts. I will never forget the breakfast they served in the morning, especially the Apple Raisin French Toast Strata.

We can't say enough in praise of the proprietors Sue and Jim. They showed us terrific warmth and friendliness, helping us by booking ferries, whale-watching trips and restaurants. They took a personal interest in ensuring we got the most out of our 4 day holiday on the Cape - far more so than any hotel would have done. On arrival we were welcomed by […] Jim with a glass of wine, followed by a review of the numerous attractions of the Cape Cod area and study of the map. The breakfasts were delicious, always including some home-made dish of Sue's. The bedroom was a delight (Sue was an Interior Designer) - spacious and comfortable - with a good quality en-suite and shower, which worked, did not leak and always dispensed hot water! Although we did not use the lounges, we noted that these were comfortable and beautifully decorated. Yarmouth Port is quiet and un-commercialised, and although the B&B is situated on the fairly busy 6A road, we were not troubled by traffic noise, and there was an adequate private car-park beside the house. We've tried to balance this review by finding criticisms of the Blushing Oyster, but that has been almost impossible to do. The aircon unit was a little noisy - but you wouldn't want to be without it, given the hot weather we had. The en-suite would benefit from an extra shelf for toiletries. But these are extremely minor issues. We would unreservedly recommend this establishment to anyone considering a visit to Cape Cod. Читати далі

We loved this bed and breakfast. Everything about it was wonderful from the lovely folks who run it to the cleanliness of the home, beautifully decorated and lovely made-from-scratch breakfasts. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a room at the front of the house, which could be noisy and too light in summer, when the days are longer and the streets are busier. It was perfect for a low-key spring trip. The breakfasts were delicious and the owners, Jim and Sue, were extremely hospitable. We would return in a heartbeat.

The warm welcome with an offer of a glass of wine was a great start. Beautifully decorated, nice patio and the great friendliness of Sue & Jim - and the other guests - made for all you want and hope for when staying at a B&B. We walked to a fabulous dinner (with several choices) and followed that with a walk out on the boardwalk to watch a full moon […] rising. The Blushing Oyster B & B is a beautiful heritage home. We were warmly welcomed and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and our hostesses were very accommodating. The traffic on 6A might bother some travellers but we found the air conditioning unit blocked it and slept like babies.

This was the best B&B experience we have ever had, It is a perfect balance of being treated like a royal guest and feeling right at home. Our stay was amazing. The rooms locked from both the inside and out (we read in a review that they didn't previously). The house is beautifully appointed and in terrific brand-new resoration shape. We loved the area of the Cape that the B&B was in.. perfect distance to everything we wanted to do and in the great non-commercialized area that felt very […] "new england." Jim and Sue were the perfect hosts... they provided us with beach chairs and umbrellas for our beach days and had great ideas for dinner locations. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. When we arrived there was wine and cookies waiting for us... and each day the breakfast was more and more delicious. The accomodation were clean and pristine. Excellent accueil dans une très jolie maison. Petits déjeuners remarquables, variés,cuisine et présentation raffinées. Chambre très bien décorée mais en front à rue.Heureusement la nuit le trafic ralentit! La salle de bains par contre est petite et peu fonctionnelle par manque de possibilité de rangement. Il B&B si trova a Yarmouth che è una località posta lungo la strada principale, la route 6A, che attraversa Cape Code da Ovest a Est. Purtroppo non c'è un vero e proprio centro del paese. In ogni caso il piccolo e vivace centro di Hyannis si trova ad una decina di minuti d'auto. Il B&B è molto accogliente, ben curato ed arredato con cura. I proprietari, […] Sue e Jim, sono delle persone gentilissime ed accoglienti. La signora Sue al mattino cucina personalmente la colazione di solito composta da un paio di portate, sempre diverse ogni giorno. La colazione viene servita in giardino in tavolo con gli altri ospiti: buona occasione per scambiare quattro chiacchiere con gli altri ospiti del B&B e per esercitare il proprio inglese. Unico consiglio che mi permetto di dare se si volesse trascorrere qualche notte qui è di farsi dare una stanza che non dia direttamente sulla strada principale se si è sensibili al rumore del traffico. Les propriétaires de ce B & B sont très accueillants et charmants. La décoration de la maison dans un style Old England est très agréable. Dommage que la maison soit située en bordure de Main Street, ce qui induit une circulation assez intense et bruyante. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Séjour très agréable.
