If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night this place is really not that bad. The location was great, only a short walk from the falls and other attractions. We ran into one small problem when we went to return our key to the main office there was no drop box and no one there, the door was locked.
I'd go there again.

"Decent hotel,"
Pro: close to the fall, relatively cheap, although it is not a place for couple's romantic time, but it is a choice if you lack choices. Con: no refrigerator..
"Budget Friendly and clean"
The staff at the Diplomat were extremely helpful and friendly. Everything at the hotel was clean and well kept up. The diplomat is a a great place to stay if you are looking for a place that is budget friendly and clean.
"Not the greatest for this price"
Hotel was So So. I didn't like the smell in the room. They also said iron will be provided, but nothing was provided. No Elevators either. I would prefer another hotel for this cost, It's ok hotel if you can't find another place.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Although there was a problem with our AC due to a power outage on the street, they fixed everything as soon as possible. The rooms were very clean. Close to attractions, but with koacroach traps under the sink, warn-out furniture, no night guard. Good WYFI
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would book with them again .
"Absolutely HORRIFIC"
After reading the reviews of this hotel, I decided it would be fine for a quick stop over solution. We weren't looking for luxury. Just a place to rest our heads after a super late flight in before we continued on our journey in the morning. This hotel was disgusting. The room smelled so badly of smoke we were all gagging (my daughter threw up). My […] 11 year old was afraid to walk into the bathroom without shoes on (he is NOT one of those picky children either). The Diplomat was chosen for the low price, but I couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Entire motel was extremely clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone!

The manager was very very helpful. If you are on a budget then it is okay. Otherwise, the refrigerator was falling apart, the beds were not comfortable.
"I loved this place"
I wasn't expecting a whole lot, based on the amount I was paying, but I was completely thrilled. Location was great. Walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. The staff was amazing, and couln't be more helpful or friendly. I highly recommend this place!

"Basic but clean"
If you are looking for a modern, trendy, with-it kind of motel, this is not for you. It is a little older, a little tired, but well-loved and cared for. "Diplomat Hotel, Niagara Falls Ontario"
I have stayed at this facility on a couple of occasions and always found the staff to bo freindly and helpful. The hotel is a nice waklk from Clifton Hill, The Skylon and both Casinos. Therooms are clean,comfortable, and affordable.
"you get what you pay for"
It was a cheap room and well it was outdated but clean and the wifi was out of range of my room. The office staff was very nice I will not return but if you are on a budget it is an alright place to stay :)

The hotel was nice and in a quiet location. No noise at night so great for sleeping. The staff were very helpful too. The price was right and we would definately stay there again.

L'hôtel est très bien placé, à 20 minutes à pied des chutes. Vous aurez donc toute les disponibilités de la ville pas très loin. L'accueil était vraiment agréable, le réceptionniste nous a expliqué tout ce que nous recherchions. La réception était très serviable mais un petit doute subsiste. Lorsque nous leur avons parlé le matin, il ont bien voulu […] nous prendre notre linge pour le laver et nous poster nos cartes postales. Cependant nos cartes sont partis une semaine après nous et finalement ils n'ont pas pu laver notre linge... Le gros point noir de l'hôtel est la punaise que nous avons trouvé dans le lit après y avoir dormi. De plus les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas et l'humidité de la SDB reste dans la chambre. Читати далі
"Einfaches Hotel Niagara Fälle"
Hotel liegt an einer relativ großen Straße, neben einem unbebauten Grundstück. Wenn man die Attraktionen zu Fuß erreichen will, benötigt man ca.20 Minuten. Haus ist nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand, etwas abgewohnt. Jedoch für diesen Preis ein Schnäppchen. Mitarbeiter an der Lobby sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

"Hotel Diplomat: amabilité à notre service"
Il faisait 50 degrés et l'hotelier nous a permis de nous baigner au delà de l'heure de fermeture. Voyant que j'étais avec 4 enfants, il nous a offert une chambre avec plus de commodités. Nous avons très appréciés la réception de cet hotelier qui se préoccupait du confort de ses clients. Merci et je recommande cet hôtel pour son hospitalité.
