Gallery Lodge - Касілоф

This B & B has a beautiful view overlooking the Kalisof River. The building has two bedrooms downstairs with a large beautiful kitchen and dining area (5 or 6 round tables sitting 6-8 people). The dining area has the view and but the bedroom didn't have any windows. One of the host is an artist with her studio upstairs. The bedroom had been repurposed […] from her pottery studio. The host missed an opportunity to show off their property wtih the closed window binds. They provide plenty of fixings for breakfast as other reviewers have listed. I missed having a light next to my bed and chair in the room. A small rug next to the bed would be a nice touch, although the tile floors have radiant heat. Bedrooms also have a coffeemaker and small fridge. Would have like a stand for my suitcase. The lack of windows make for a nice dark sleeping area welcomed in a place where it doesn't get dark during June/July. A great place for fishing late July. Host was informative. They also use the space for wedding receptions. They also have a cute house next door for rent which would be a deal for two-four people. Читати далі

Our stay was GREAT.. Dot is a wonderful hostess. The facility is quite simply the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in. We will most certainly revisit the Gallery Lodge on our next trip to the area.

My daughter and I spent the night in Gallery Lodge and what a wonderful experience we had, we can't wait to go back!! The lodge is located overlooking the Kasilof River with an amazing view. Our room was clean and comfortable with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, satellite tv, and dvd player. We had access to the kitchen in the main lodge that […] was fully stocked. Although we stayed in one of the pottery rooms with a shared bath we still felt that we had privacy. Dot was a most gracious host and made us feel like family from the moment we pulled up. The owner was very helpful, and delightful, the breakfast was great. Fun atmosphere but $25 for each extra person, and a 3 lb. puppy. That was a little much. We had no money left to buy any of the local extras in the shop. The room was beautiful, and large. The shower was an extra large head, and warm.

We had full access to the large kitchen/conference size dining area .The kitchen was adequately stocked with food to cook your own breakfast,have a snack etc.Our room included a microwave and refrigerator as well. There were no other occupants at the lodge so access to the shared bathroom was not a concern as we had anticipated it might have been.The […] view from the back of the lodge is a breath taking awesome view of the Kasilof River. And for those who have never been to Alaska, the river is actually a turquoise color as a result of the glacier that feeds it. Wow was that beautiful. This beautiful B&B, located above the river has very generous and clean rooms. Everything is modern and quite new. A full equipped kitchen and sufficient food in the freezer are available to help yourself to cook your own breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights there river view house in August. This is a beautiful, calm, and scenic place. The accomodation is very clean. The host family is friendly. A few mooses were just around there. But there is no road sign of this lodge. We checked the exact place by Google Map in advance. if we didn't, we couldn't have found the lodge forever.
