"This is a MUST stay at Inn"
I had the opportunity to stay in this gem of an Inn on a recent business trip to CO. I was lucky enough that my contact whilst in CO lived in the same town. I happened to find this gem for a very reasonable rate on hotels.com and my contact said, oh yes, grab it! The town of Evergreen is a darling small mountain town so it is quiet at the Inn and it […] is a very short walk into town and around the lake. The Inn itself leaves one desiring to stay longer, and most definitely come back. The service was superb, the breakfast was delightful, the dining room it is served in is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful and rustic. I stayed in a smaller room, but it was plenty big for a business trip where I was only there for one night. The grounds are a joy to walk around and beckon to return with a romantic partner. "Great B&B in a Quiet Setting"
It's not cheap, but it is definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the breakfasts are filling and delicious, and the room decor is warm yet modern. We recommend this to anyone who wants a luxurious getaway in the foothills, and we would certainly stay here again.

We booked this hotel for our anniversary. The room (D) and breakfast was average, I would rate the Holiday Inn Express higher. The bathroom blind was dirty. The bath window trim was dirty. The sink hot water handle fell off. The second night we listened to the upstairs swamp cooler drip all night. The setting is nice but the room did not warrant the […] cost. Very disappointed. In our two week trip through Iowa, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Kansas; all of our accomodations were much nicer than the Highland Inn and several had much more scenic settings. "A Beautiful Get away!"
An amazing place. Loved the staff and Gayle the owner! She gave us a tour of the new Tree House. The breakfast was wonderful. Romantic and quiet! Everyone was so nice.I felt like I was in another world!! We will go back for sure!!!
