Atalos Villas - Тіра

This hotel reminded us of how places used to be in Greece - simple and unpretentious. Maybe the rooms are in need of a little updating, but they are immaculately clean - the housekeeping staff work really hard, with fresh bedlinen and towels every day. The grounds and buildings are very pretty and the location was perfect for us. Being set back a little […] from the seafront, it was very peaceful (apart from the occasional noise from low flying aircraft coming in to land at the nearby airport. This was not a problem for us - in fact we were fascinated watching them). Giannis is a very kind person and tries his best to keep all his guests happy. The included pick-up and drop-off at the airport is an absolute bonus and when we needed to meet friends at a different hotel for a wedding, he gave us a lift! Also, there is no extra charge for air conditioning or use of the safety deposit box - which is becoming a rarity these days. We hope to return to Atalos and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for simple, laid-back accommodation. Читати далі

Atalos was a good fit for us. We enjoyed having our own little efficiency appartment with a kitchen so we could cook some of our own meals. There was a breakfast available by the pool in the morning, for an extra charge, we opted not to do. Giannis and Irini are lovely people who were very accomidating. We were picked up at the port and delivered to […] the Villas. Given orange juice on arrival and shown a map and instructions on how to get around the island. Giannis also arranged for us to take day tours. Our rooms were clean and homey. The location is quiet and in walking distance to the bus, shops, restaurants and beach. We enjoyed our stay at Atalos. I and my new fiance recently stayed at Atalos Villas for five days and we enjoyed every minute of it! The family that owns the villas are extremely nice and caring and took care of every need we had throughout the week. We had a very early flight in to the island and the owner was more than willing to pick us up from the airport and give us maps and […] information about the island when we checked in. He helped us get a great deal on a scooter rental and told us the best places to eat. Our rooms were very clean and air-conditioned, and were decorated really cute. The breakfast was nice and convenient each morning. The villas are in a great location and it is without a doubt the best value you can get on the island with the most caring owners. When he left he drove us to the airport and even gave us a gift to send us off. We can't wait to go back again! Читати далі

L'hotel est très bien tenu (extérieur et intérieur), les chambres nettoyées tous les jours, le cadre est très agréable, avec piscine, et la mer toute proche; le propriétaire est toujours prêt à aider et à conseiller le nouvel arrivant à propos des bons plans et bonnes adresses de l'ile en fonction des attentes de chacun; que demander de plus?

Stannade en vecka tillsammans med fru och två barn. Blev hämtade på flygplatsen av hotellägaren som gladeligen hjälpte oss med att navigera på ön och gav många tips på saker som var värda att se. Efter veckans slut gav han oss skjuts till hamnen på västra sidan av Santorini. Hotellet är mycket personligt och man känner sig väl omhändertagen. Standarden […] är enkel, men rummen är välskötta, rena och luftkonditionerade. Frukosten är inget hav av läckerheter, men god och helt i min smak. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell och kommer mest säkert att välja det igen om jag kommer tillbaka till Santorini. Читати далі
