excellent location for our needs - my daughter is due to do Steiner training and she will be staying in the YMCA at Watford. As this trip was to get her US visa I decided to stay at Watford so she could get used to her surroundings for her upcoming stay. I booked this hotel for a long weekend over New Year. It was a great location to get everywhere in Watford and only down the road from the Mainline Station into London which takes 15 mins! The room was clean and well equipped and staff were friendly. Breakfast was great too!!!

The receptionist who greeted me was not very friendly, and when I asked where I could park to off load my luggage I did not get a response. All the paperwork had to be attended to first, I was told. The only place to stop is on double yellow lines, and the person told me, if I did this it was at my risk. This hotel is very reasonably priced and just off the main high street and shopping centre. I chose to stay here so I could access the resturants and bars during an overnight stay in September. It was good to be able to wander into town, go out for dinner and return for a quiet drink in the bar which was open to 1am.

The Jury's Inn, is a large, attractive hotel in the heart of Watford City Centre. Just 5 minutes drive from the main Watford tube station and 2 minutes walk from the city centre (Shopping, nightlife etc) it is perfectly situated. There is even a large supermarket directly opposite. The staff are professional and friendly, we had no hassle checking […] in, out or making requests such as an iron for our room or leaving our bags while we walked around town. The hotel looks lovely and is very well kept. All areas are clean, tidy and modern. The rooms are large with plenty of surface space, as well as air conditioning, satellite television and a bath/shower combo. There is a £50 charge deposit which needs to be paid on check in using either a credit or debit card. This is refunded upon check out and is PER ROOM (Much to the dismay of a larger group who were staying at the same time as us and had booked several rooms) All in all I would thoroughly recommend the Jury's Inn for any length of time or reason for staying in Watford. Hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They were also kind enough to store our luggage while we were in Scotland. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Rail transportation was just 2 blocks away and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

It's been a few months since I stayed in Watford but have stayed in several other towns in similar rated hotels, and I forgot how nice Jurys is. The whole staff attitude always seems upbeat and although I tend not to use hotel bars and restaurants, the one hear does look decent. One big criticism is no parking.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Was expecting a bomb shelter considering it's 3 stars but was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone on budget although it's well out of London.

Nice hotel but we requested twin beds and got a double.

I use this hotel each week for anything from 1, 2 or 3 nights and it is very consistent in most areas, some consistently good and soom consistently very bad! The hotel lobby and rooms are really clean and comfortable and the staff are usually pretty helpful which is great. The sore point with the Jurys Watford is the restaurant and the poor quality […] of service they give, this has not improved since i started staying there in August and seems to be getting worse. The restaurant is slow, it is not uncommons to wait over 1 hour for food from ordering and it is never busy which is even more annoying. On three seperate occasions they have mislaid my room service order which resulted in dinner at 11:15 last week....not great. Recently i was offered the desert menu which was nice...even better if i had been offered my main course after one hour wait. You see the theme here!! No parking on site, though had to go and ask to find this out. Nearest carpark is £5 overnight. Restaurant service was poor on first night with being told that there would be a 15 minute wait for a table (in a 1/2 empty restaurant) and then left standing, this was followed by a wait of over 45 minutes between one course being cleared and the next arriving. […] The other night we dined in, service was quicker though still a fairly long wait. Quality of food was good, but priced very expensively and didn't include vegetables, for which there was an extra charge. Quality of coffee incredibly poor - staff blamed it on the machine, but I'd blame it on the quality of the coffee bean. Breakfast incredibly expensive for the service and food quality/quantity provided, would suggest that if you want breakfast you exit the hotel, take a right over the main road and wander into the town centre where there are a couple of good quality cafes with prices that are far better. Also found internet pricing expensive and the 'free' wifi in bar and restuarant required a code from the manager which only lasted an hour before expiring. Читати далі

New hotel, so expected it to be good, only problem was lack of parking, this was not mentioned when we booked & after travelling 300 miles was very dissapointed to have to park down the raod! Hotel excellent apart from lack of parking...

I stayed here for one night which was an abs pleasure. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant food was lovely. The hotel/room was airy, clean and very modern and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The hotel is located (5 mins) from Watford Junction Station and is close to a variety of local amenities (5 -10 mins walk) there is […] a range of shops, cafes and restaurants (on the high road) and a good vibrant feel to the area. My husband and i have just spent 2 very comfortable nights at this Jurys Inn. The hotel ticked all the right boxes for us from comfort, cleanliness and amenities in the room to the quality and value for money in the restaraunt and bar. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hallway and rooms stank so bad due to the smelly carpets! Parking was a big problem too.

We have had a wonderful stay, although we arrived quite late ,10.10pm, the reception was very welcoming. Our request for a smoking room had not been received but they very quickly found us the last smoking room, which turned out to be an upgrade to the larger room. Best of all they made no extra charges from the booked rate! The whole of the hotel is […] still spotless and tastefully decorated. The bar is very competitively priced with the Watford High St . But we didn't eat breakfast or dinner there because of the late arrival and the high street is so close. See tips. So in conclusion a big well done to all at Jury's Watford! Clean and tidy with all the standard facilities that you would expect from a good chain hotel.

Top! Watford est une ville rempli de magasins, de centres commerciaux. L'hotel est à proximité de Londres (overground) et est très confortable. Baignoire, lit, canapé, ascenseur, bref tout y est. Le petit déj le matin est parfait. Cet hôtel vaut bien ses 3 étoiles.

godt og pænt hotel og perfekt til ophold beliggende pænt i forhold til London og Milton Keynes, så damerne kan tage til London, mens herrerne kan tage nordpå til Silverstone

Veldig fint og nytt hotell. støynivået var upåklagelig, og rengjøringen var svært tilfrestillende. Hyggelig betjenning og god service! Ismaskin i gangen var et stort pluss for de som ikke hadde kjøleskap på rommet!

Hotellet var bra på alle måter bortsett fra at det er MEGET lytt mellom rommene. Jeg ble flere morgener vekket av naborommets vekkerklokke, og derpå liggende å høre på samtalene som ble ført der inne (i normalt toneleie)..! Og så savnet jeg trådløst nett. Det var mulighet for tilkobling, men da kun kablet.

Rummet var väldigt fint och rent, personalens bemötande var alltid bra, artigt och korrekt. Bra service. Det enda negativa jag har att säga om hotellet är att som turist sökte jag på hotell i London, medans det här hotellet låg i Watford(Alltså utanför stadszonen). Jag visste att det låg 2 mil utanför centrum men jag visste inte att det skulle vara […] så dyrt att åka in till själva London. HotellKedjan har dock 3 stycken hotell som ligger "i" London. Då vi bodde på hotellet i en vecka så måste vi säga att allting höll en väldigt hög standard trots att det bara var 3 stjärnigt. Finns ingenting att klaga på förutom att rummet saknade kylskåp.
