The location is very good close to MRT station (8 minutes of walking). The hotel is a bit old and simple. But I only spent one night there that won't have any negative impact on me. Their staff was very helpful on answering my questions about sightseeing. I made good use of 2 days in Taipei for their advice.

Hotel staff is professional and friendly. It's a chic hotel but it'd be too small for a long stay.

Overall is fairly okay. Most complaints are about its distance from MRT station. I have no problem with that; it's not very close to MRT but is definitely within walking distance. There are also shopping areas and good restaurants nearby. My major criticism is the speed of their Internet service! Very poor!

We were surprisingly amazed how good the hotel was. Happy about everything in the hotel, especially the hotel room. Everything is just perfect - Japanese automatic toilet, 3 powerful shower head, good quality toiletry, automatic curtain, big LCD TV, great lighting…, etc. Seriously everything. Love every bit of the hotel! 1) Great service from all staff 2) Molton Brown skincare and v thoughtful toiletries 3) Wonderful shower with 3 heads and automated TOTO WC. 4) Almost everything in the room is automated. 5) Great Nespresso coffee and White Evolution Tea 6) Wonderful breakfast every morning. 7) Plush bed and good quality sheets!

"Great, great service!"
From the front desk to both restaurants, all personnel is super nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a great downtown spot. Not necessarily business oriented, but great "small luxury" hotel.

"Boutique Hotel of highest standard"
Really enjoyed my stay at Eclat, the staff were very helpful, and I felt like I was staying with friends, rather than at a hotel. Would highly recommend the hotel to anybody on business, as they understand what you need. My last two stays were at Grand Hyatt, but this was far more comfortable.

"Taipei Eclat Hotel"
This's a very nice butique hotel in Taipei. Well, it's a bit pricy, but I received good discount from Hotel.com. The room is a bit small, but all the items inside are very delicate. Overall, a very pleasant stay in Taipei. :-)

"Excellent boutique hotel--highly recommended"
This is an excellent hotels; the rooms are extremely well equipped (3 showers, heated tiolet seat, Nespresso machine in room, Monte blanc pen, Bose stereo, and more); internet is included; great breakfasts; all kinds of amenities. I had a wonderful stay.

"Boutique with actual functionality!"
Fabulous place for those who love style, and flair! One of the first great boutique styled hotels in Asia that actually deliver 5 star Service and Location in addition to fine accommodation. Most Boutique high style hotels lack in usability. Not Eclat, they achieved on all levels. I will be sure to stay again and again.

The service in this hotel was good and the breakfast was ok as well. It was the usual in the 5 star hotels. The location was not too great and none of the taxi drivers knew about the hotel perhaps because it was new so make sure to take the hotel's business card with you when you go out if you are not fluent in Mandarin. 台湾人的服务业是亚洲里面最好的！前台服务人员态度亲切，门童，乃至于清洁的阿姨的和蔼可亲。酒店干净，床和枕头都好舒服。大力推荐的酒店！

"交通便利,環境不錯."
10-15min可到捷運站, 附近有24hr的敦南誠品. Deluxe房間大小適中, 床很好睡~~浴室有很棒的免治馬桶和小小的液晶電視!!! (有浴缸的話就更好了) . 半自助早餐可送到房間, 蠻豐盛的. 缺點: 小貴, 電梯有點暗, 希望未來飯店可以規劃一區提供幾台電腦方便旅客.
虽然比起我3年前的时候旧了许多，而且服务的贴心度也下降了不少，但整体来说还是可以的，特别是我朋友遗留了一对白金耳环，隔天回去找还是能找到的，酒店还是值得表扬。

部屋は広いとはいえませんが、設備は十分でした。 日本人なのでバスタブが欲しいところでしたが、3種類のシャワーを椅子にすわってゆっくり浴びられたので、シャワータイムを満喫できました。 インテリアなど、好みが分かれるかもしれませんが、私は好きでした。若い人向きかな？？？

"Eclat Hotel"
Hotel is full of surprises. In general, I like this hotel although the rooms are a bit small. However, the concierge is bit inexperience and not very good in providing helpful tips in local touring. There are a couple of time I asked for help in transportation and every time the recommendation is to take a taxi!
"Feel welcome"
This might be the best hotel in Taipei. Allthough I usually stay at Hyatt because of location close to TWTC and the ZigaZaga bar, I now prefer to take taxi the few minutes it takes to go there. Breakfast is super. Rooms not big, but new and confortable. Nespresso mashine in room. Outside tables for smoking.

Room size is a little bit small (Deluxe room), but another things are mostly perfect - Clean, Comfotable and so on. Location is good. one block distance from MRT Station(Daan). I could move to almost of downtown's spot with taxi, pays around 80~150 Taiwan Dollar. Last, bed is perfect. I love feather goods and Egyption Linen.
