Our room was infested with bed bugs-and I do mean INFESTED. The maid brought her small children in with her to clean our room-we saw them in our room when we were coming in-the hotel staff seemed unconcerned when I went to them about it. The air conditioners settings were only off or freezing. Stayed btwn 6/29-7/6 and they stopped offering the contental breakfast after 7/1. Would've liked that memo before I paid for it. Also the clerk at the counter is also the guy who picks you up the airport. So if you have an issue, like how we did - our key card didn't work, then you'd have to wait […] til they came back. Newly refurbished. Spacious room with full cable lineup. Mediocre "continental breakfast", but friendly staff and late checkout

The Royal Extended Stay motel was being worked on (after we finally found it in the back of the Day's Inn) and we were put in the adjacent Day's Inn. The office to the Royal motel was very small,dark and dreary. The whole area was not up to a 2-star motel in appearance and the noise from the airplanes taking off and landing was extreme. The air in the room was coying with Perfumed deoderant spray. The room needed renovation though it claimed renovation in 2009. There was no refridgerin the room as offered and ice machines we're not found in designated areas. It was very hard to find tucked away behind another hotel and with a sign showing a different name.

got in in the middle of the night (3am) but they were still courteous and helpful at check-in...room was surprisingly large and nice, especially considering how little I paid...highly recommended

I booked a non-smoking room for 2 nights. When I got there at 6pm, there was a repair man fixing the toilet with a cigarette in his mouth. The room stunk. The area around the airport is not very nice, and it is not close to nice restaurants or any other attractions. If we had any other place to stay we would have! This hotel is broken down and very old. The pool was filled with green water and they have people living in the hotel rooms. Do not stay here if you want a clean and safe-feeling trip!!

Was very pleasantly surprised at the hotel when we arrived, much nicer than we expected for the cost... location was good for our purposes and plenty of dining nearby.... I would recommend this place in a second to anyone wanting a good room for a good rate not expecting a Hilton experience... we will use this hotel again next year, NO question!! : […] ) Читати далі

Had no problems find the hotel when I arrived in Alcoa. Room was large with a comfortable king size bed. I did want room service during my stay so I placed the "Do not disturb" sign on my door. I got a call in the evening from the front offering to come and do my room. overall the surrounds was good, but the quality of the hotel was least to be expected. We wanted king bed and was giving a room with 2 doubles that was about broken down.

This hotel was behind a super 8 and was a little hard to find. The man working the counter was sleeping in another room and it took him a while to get to our check-in. We paid almost double for the advertised price, but we ended up staying in the super 8 in front of this hotel. I did not get an explanation why but I am very glad that we did stay in […] the super 8 because the outside of the Royal looked a bit sketchy. The room we stayed in was very good for the price. The landscaping is really nice and the pool area was fine. I had problems with there being the smell of stale smoke in my non-smoking room, and there were several small things that were not working correctly or at all as well as some things that were just structurally damaged. They were in the middle of a bunch of renovations so they may be fairly nice […] soon. Also, the owners seemed to be really nice people and the staff also seemed nice. Читати далі
