The location of the hotel is very convenient, just on the top of the Namba subway station. There is a food market next to the hotel. You can buy food and drinks in reasonable prices there and it opens till late. Very good hotel.

We received excellent services and were very satisfied with every aspects: locations ( extreme convenient if taking the Kansai airport limousine bus to and from the hotel), the stylish decoration of the entrance and lobby ( but inside the room is just so-so ), the breakfast room at 23/f with awesome view of Osaka ( our package did not incl the breakfast […] yet we were granted breakfast coupons for 1 day as being the member of hotel via its official web-site ). THe room is very decent. Nice and clean. Room size is OK based on Japanese hotel standard. Good value for $ and it's v convenient. JR station is just below us. OCAT bus station to Kansai airport just right besides us. THere is also a food mart at the basement which open til midnight. I will recommend my friends to stay there.

酒店的大堂不記得是21還是22樓, 所以房間都在22樓以上, 房間的玻璃窗可以飽覽周圍的景色, 無論早上或夜晚都好靚!! 每层都有一個位置有汽水機, 唔記得買野飲都唔怕!! 酒店可以租用手提電腦, 2日1夜都是1050YEN, 好抵! 唔使自己帶電腦~ 果晚我地好夜先番酒店, 番到去又未訓, 就去租部電腦, 因為過左12點先租, 所以變相仲抵, 用左2日2夜, 到CHECK OUT先還番!! 酒店很方便!!! 酒店門口就是JR難波站, 旁邊的超市很大, 門口賣園藝, 盆栽, 望進去覺得空蕩蕩, 進去走一圈, 為什麼沒什麼食品賣??原來地庫才是真正的超市!! 水果, 零食, 熟食, 壽司, 刺身應有盡有, 價錢合理, 不過注意到夜晚12點關門. 另外, 在賣園藝果层下一层即到超市. 由於園藝果层好像9點左右關門, […] 大家要去超市, 就要在旁邊有扶手電梯下一層. 我地第一晚就是不知道超市在地庫, 又唔知原來旁邊有扶手電梯下一層, 所以浪費左無得去買零食同水果! 酒店另一邊有個商場, 2樓就有巴士去機場, 又係好方便, 唔使1小時就到. 另外, 由酒店行3個路口, (向園藝超市果邊行)就到道頓堀步行街, 心齋橋步行街, 所以真係好方便啦. Good place to stay if you taking the coach or on a JR train to Namba !! Walking distance to Dontombori !! the bright lights of Osaka !!

Hotel Monterey has a great location and right beside OCAT station and JR Namba line that is the gateway to other locations in Osaka. Room is very small but clean, good for resting. Service is good.

Very nice loby when we enter the hotel. Location very good, just above bus station where take us from/to KIX airport. Also JR Namba dan Subway station just next door, very convenient. Shopping street Shinsaibaishi also just 5-10 minutes walk. The room very clean and at decent size not too small and not too big just nice. View from Hotel room was spectacular […] from our view. My only suggestion is for room TV entertainment, adult channel preview should be more restricted to prevent family with children to be more cautious. Currently if we press one of button in the remote will direct you straight to adult channel and free preview for about 15-30 seconds, family with children should be more cautious. had a pleasant stay there two years ago so booked the hotel again this time. The hotel was still OK but the it became so busy. May not stay again.

It is really very convenient. It is just up above the Namba Station. Also a supermarket is downstairs. Easy for shopping and go other places.

General condition is satisfactory for its price as we got it at 50% discount deal.

The hotel is clean and the subway is just right below. It's very convenient.

We came back from Osaka recently, stayed in this hotel for 3 nights from the time we touch down in Japan. Firstly, it is located conveniently at JR Namba (OCAT) where by we arrived by Airport Bus less than an hour which is located next to the hotel. From the hotel, we walked 8 mins to Namba Station via underground walkway which leads us to many other […] locations. We also use the side exit of the hotel to JR Namba Stn which is very near.The best part is Market Hall is just located lower ground level of hotel where by it is very convenient to grab food & drinks every night when we are on the way back to hotel. Secondly, we love the luxury ambience of the lobby and the chapel area. The rooms are always freshen up everyday after our day long of exploring the city. We stayed in Superior Twin which can also fit in 2 kids below 8 yrs old. They also supply 2 kids with amenities pack which consist of child slipper, toothbrush set & mini face towel. This is the 1st hotel I ever stayed in which supply kids' amenities set, it's lovely. Thirdly, there are 3 sets of Yukata (Pyjamas) placed on bed every time we are back. It is comfy as well as the bed linen. Towels are ample and new. Shower are fantastic as the water current are so strong. We stayed in 26th floor which have a skyline view of Namba area both day and night. The only set back is the room are little small if you have 2 big luggages and a stroller as in our case. Friendly people and very helpful staff. This was extremely important since I don't know any Japanese and the staff was able to help me find my way around the city. Great location - in the middle of everything! Very clean and comfortable rooms. I'm generally very picky when it comes to hotels, and I was very happy with this one.

Got a great deal at a stay here. Great location, underground walk to Dotonbori and Shi Sai Ba Shi. 4 stop subway ride to Umeda are where the locals shop and eat. Easiness to airport bus at OCAT and to Kyoto. Exceptional and prompt service throughout entire staff. I would look for a hotel in Umeda area next time but best choice around Namba area!

This was a great hotel. Very convenient access to the JR station and bus stop from KIX is right next door. Yes, the rooms aren't as large as many westerners expect, but you are in Japan! The room was comfortable, clean, and had all of the amenities one would expect at a fine hotel. No complaints here.

The location is good only if you take the JR line. The room is fine for a single person and the washroom is good. However the front desk people are very "cool" and not helpful. They speak to you only when you ask.

Hotel location is perfect, super market, subway station at downstairs of the hotel. suttle bus to airport within 2 minutes walking distance. My in laws got better room, we have two adults and one child, we have got triple beds but the room was kind of old and floor was dirty.

Gread location, just beside the JR Namba station, has an art museum in the hotel

Location - close to OCAT bus terminal, which seems to be the easiest transport from KIX. Go out the North side (you should see the freeway overhead), make a right, and it's about 50 yards/meters ahead. Fully covered access to Nanba walk, the underground mall/walkway, so if it's raining, you won't even get wet. It's about a 8 minute walk to the midosuji […] line, which runs north/south, and a few more minutes to reach the Dotonbori area. Rooms - rather spacious by Japanese standards, with at least the outside facing rooms having nice views (with the entire hotel located on high floors). Clean, well appointed, and aircon/heater instructions in English (a nice plus). Slight negative is there's no wifi in the rooms, only wired internet access (with provided cable), so you might not be able to connect your mobile devices - there is free wifi in the lobby though. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location. Easy access to JR/Subway station, super market,popular shopping districts in Namba. Good reception service and hotel room too.

Free shuttle bus to the airport was excellent.

The hotel is right next to OCAT bus terminal for airport bus to Nanba, and on top of subway station. There's also a nice supermarket next to the hotel entrance. Lots of shops, eateries, and famous spots nearby. It would be perfect if they had wireless Wi-Fi in the room so I can use my iPad.

I am very pleased with the room soze and the condition of the room. It is big , clean and offered a very good city view. the hotel is conveniently located next to the subway station which is a plus point for travellers with bulky luggages. There is also a big supermart located next to the hotel .The staffs are friendly and well mannered.

This was a fantastic surprise of a hotel at the end of 3 travelling weeks. The Room was a great size (for Japan), looked new. Value for money was excellent, felt like we got a huge bargin. It's right on the JR Namba line and a subway underneath so it's easy to get to everywhere (subway is better as JR Namba is the last stop so trains aren't as frequent, […] 10 minutes or so). No Noise as the Lobby is on Floor 22! Staff were helpful with pretty good english skills, My only critism is that when we came from the train the signs for the hotel weren't lose enough and we followed the first one into a hall type room and then nothing. But once you work it out there is no problem. Close to Dontonbori St, lots of great restuarants nearby, for a great cheap breaky find the 'Royal Host' (towards dotonbori near the mcdonalds) they do a good breakfast if you are like us and want a bit more than the cafe's offer. very convenient hotel with easy access to nanba, shinshaibashi. With large luggage, you can easily get to OCAT terminal in 5 minutes.

Nothing at all wrong with this place, but it doesn't offer anything to draw me back. Location is good (convenient for transport). Staff ties hard, but is often language-limited compared to other competing properties in Japan. There is an odd - and very seriously rendered - Euro-theme to the public areas of the hotel. Visited the hotel with two small kids and enjoyed the stay a lot. Magnificent view over Osaka, great location and good service. Excellent value for money with free internet connection at room. Convenient in all aspects.

super convenient location. easy access to trains and limousine bus to the airport (OCAT beside the hotel) is really good. takes about 50 mins to reach airport. will definitely stay in this hotel again. Only down side , hotel staff don't speak fluent english, a bit of communication difficulty, other than that a good hotel to stay in.

It not a big hotel, but the hotel staffs are really nice, and with best quality of service. The room is clean and neat, the bed is very comfortable and with reasonal price. The hotel location is very convenience, the subway station is about 2 minutes walk, also if you take airport bus is about 2 mins walk from the bus station to the hotel

We (family of 7) found this hotel to be well suited to our needs. Convenient location. Pleasant and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms.
