Distinction Wellington Century City Hotel - Веллінгтон

Rooms were warm and inviting. Close to Te Papa, eatteries, bars and the town centre. One thing it lacked was a folder in the room with the hotel facitities and things to do in Wellington. A pool was advertised on the website but no information about a pool was anywhere to be seen. It had an awesome deep bath in the room which was very nice.

We were in Wellington on the busiest week ever and we needed a hotel before our early flight so Sydney. Nothing close to the airport was available so this one had to do! The hotel was clean, modern and close to restaurants and bars. The only thing is that our room was overlooking the garages, so that was kinda strange.

Convenient location and studio apartment very comfortable. Reception staff very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, spotless rooms with your own kitchenette, minutes walk from Courtenay Place with all its restaurants, it's ideally situated.

Good location in the heart of town. Parking is not included. Modern decor. Studio hotel apartment with kitchen but only larger units have laundry facilities in the room. 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Our window opened up to the parking garage, so don't always expect a nice view. Wired and wireless internet is available for a fee.

Very good position in relation to the city, however Saturday nights are noisey due to the pub next door. I was also there for Guy Fawkes w/e so lots of crackers throughout the night! Great view of the harbour to watch the fireworks display from 8th floor balcony adjacent to the room. The Audio visual/TV is great with good selection of channels especially […] sport. It was amazing, clean,modern, not very noisey, close to airport, short walking distance to Te Papa, Courtney Place ( Main Street ), lots of restaurants.

We stayed 4 nights. Didn't have the same experiences as others re service as we always found the staff friendly and helpful. Being centrally located was great, although somewhat noisy at night if you don't join them. The only negative was the room cleaning didn't get done until later in the day although I expect we could have asked to have done earlier […] if we wished. Читати далі

This is overpriced for the facilities. Single beds were queen-sized bed split in two (very narrow), front desk inefficient, toaster blew the fuse, swimming pool cold (not 'tepid'), gym accessed through carpark building (no signs or directions), and the living areas are much smaller than the email pics - we had four people and only one two-seater couch. […] The rooms were very clean and looked good. The area is noisy, being downtown, but also very close to everything in the central city - good foodmarket over the road. Would book the hotel again, but not at these prices - Central City Apartments are just next door and cheaper (the same complex, I think). Читати далі

On arrival we were up-graded to a penthouse suite. It was spacious, stunning views, lovely decor. The cantilevered pool on the 9th floor was an amazing experience to swim in. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Our room cards reverted a couple of times but they were reset at the desk quickly and efficiently and it almost felt like an added security […] measure, no problem. A brillant stay in every way and I believe the upgrade happened to us because our booking was through the likes of Hotels.com. Wellington was an a great experience, the food, Te Papa and the weather and the whole place was alive and buzzing. It felt very safe for three women together in the capital! Читати далі
