Over all it was veary good.

I highly recommend staying here. Everything was wonderful from the friendly staff, fresh baked fabulous cookies available all the time, comfortable room, great breakfast and closeness to outlet center. Because of our outstanding experience, I would definitely stay at other Country Inns.

My first time in this hotel and i loved it it was a mommy and kids get away my kids enjoyed it also ,really good breakfast, clean rooms they take care of details really nice they had good brands toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Indoor pool and spa Loved it!!! oh and the fitness room didnt use it this time but i will in my next get away […] by myself....overall we loved it and i'll be back sooner that i expect it!!! This hotel is clean and rooms have a fresh feel. The location needs signage from highway when traveling west to east. It is behind a gas station and not visible. Once there it's a nice place

This Hotel was very clean, the food was very good and the staff was exceptional. Our ONLY complaint was that the heat in the Hotel was too high which made us uncomfortable. The staff all had the same response to our suggestion to turn the heat down. They told us they could not control the thermostat. there was also some freeway traffic noise.

Just one two things I didn't like about this hotel,1st it's totally a smoke free hotel I didn't know that when I book it,2nd thing they don't let any delivery guy to come up to the room,u have to go down to the lobby so u could get ur delivery.overall it's an ok hotel if u don't wana leave the room.

Stayed for one night on vacation. The pool and spa were great. The breakfast seating area was very busy, looks like too small compared to the hotel size.

We purposely coordinate our trip around this hotel. We have used it 7 times in the last 2 years in our trips from CA to NM. The service is outstanding; location is convenient and the continental breakfast is great!

I booked this hotel for my trip to death valley. We have four people and I especially asked for a double queen bed. But when we arrived late in the night, after hours of driving, there is no double queen there for us. Because the maid did not clean the rooms. It did surprise me with the reason, and they promised a roller bed in a king bed room. But […] when we got to the room, they called, there is no roller bed anymore. coz somebody took the last one. You can imagine I am not that happy. That is why I gave a 4/5 for the service. I know the guy is nice, but come on........ So I asked whether we can have another room, just to get a better sleep, he checked all rooms, not fully booked, but some were dirty............... maids again...... oh, did I forgot to mention that the king bed room they gave us is half cleaned? The maid left all the equipments there..... Anyway the next morning, after a really nice breakfast, we talk to the manager, and they give us a free night. So we gave up our reservation in LA, and stayed there for one more night, and going back to death valley. which is definitely worthy the driving, and this night we got a triple queen beds. really good. The jacuzzi is fabulous too. In total, it is a really good equiped hotel, but around holiday, anything can happen. I am satisfied their response towards out complain. We stayed here in Barstow for one night on our way to Arizona and were very happy with the stay. The hotel room is very comfy and hotel itself was in very good condition. Lot of food options close by. The breakfast requires a special mention, the variety was excellent. Ultra Clean... Like it just opened. Great breakfast too!

We were visiting Dad at the Veterans Home for Christmas and booked two rooms at the Country inn. It was a great value. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff worked hard to meet the needs of the guest and were friendly. (Almost a full house) The full breakfast was well above what was expected and tasty. This was our third stay at this hotel, and we've always been very impressed with the service and cleanliness as well as the convenient location. The room was large and comfortable. The only downside was the noise of the air conditioner. The desk clerk was very nice and concerned for our well-being. And when I went down for a cookie in the evening he […] offered to bake a fresh batch; I returned 20 minutes later and was offered a hot cookie right off the baking sheet! Breakfast is amazing here. For a small buffet-style breakfast they have an incredible array of choices, including waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit (even a make-your-own-smoothie station!), scrambled eggs and bacon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast offering the next morning was not only generous but delicious.

Very nice, comfortable hotel for a one night stopover stay. Very good indoor pool. Hotel situated in an "out of town" shopping area. Easily accessible from highway

This was a great stay. My room was very comfortable, the hotel was peaceful and the breakfast was excellent. Chile's restaurant was right across the driveway from the hotel, an easy walk for dinner without having to get back in the car. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay and will return on my next trip.

The hotel was packed when we stayed there, while the others near the end of the 'commerical row' were still nearly empty. There's a reason for that :-).

Great experience on a long journey

Stayed recently for an off road race in the area. Very conveniently located. Staff was very pleasant. I eas able to check in early and get settled. Very clean room. No complaints.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was very clean. We liked our room very much and the breakfast was GREAT! Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The hotel is an excellent place to stop-over between Los Angeles and Las Vegas

Good place to stop enroute - I was traveling with my schnauzer and they not only welcomed me but also my dog. He was presented with a little toy that he loved. As this was his very first hotel stay - it started our road trip off on a great note.

Our Stay From Beginning to End Was Relaxing,Every Staff Member Was Very Attentive and Aimed To Please. Allot of Food and Shopping Choices to Choose From.Thank You,Be Back Again Next Month=)

Very good experience. Initial room had some noise problems but staff moved us to another room that was excellent. That evening, they hosted a free dinner! It was pretty good and unexpected (but quite welcomed). And, the next morning's breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here again on the way back from Las Vegas. Very welcoming staff, inviting and relaxing place, almost as if you were at home! Loved the waffle machine! Wish I had your recipe for the scrambled eggs! Not located directly on Lenwood, but tucked away from street and near many different types of eating places and gas stations.

VERY friendly and helpful staff. They know true meaning behind the concept of hospitality. I've never been at a bed & breakfast, but the staff made us (there were 5 in our party) feel like we were staying at one. Wonderful breakfast. Lots of attention to details to make you feel welcomed. Keep up the good work! I will return.... Grade: A+++++

Good accommodation, helpful staff and an entirely adequate breakfast. Lack of a bar or restaurant on site was however a disappointment.

We are group of foriegners who had made our visits to several cities in the West. We picked this Country Inn because we learned from the review by Hotels.com and we would like to thank for all the recommendation about this hotel. It has all that takes for us to stay for one night...clean room, close by (may called right next to) the Outlets and opposite […] to the restaurant so that you don't have to drive far and take risk for drunk driving charge, very nice breakfast, great customer service representatives, free wifi and computer...not to mention the nice and cozy decoration. From the friendly,professional staff,to the accomodations themselves and the perks like breakfast and dinner as well we had a fabulous experience !!!!! This is our new favorite hotel chain. If you need to stay in Barstow Ca.this is a no-brainer.

This hotel is Awesome!! Very comfortable room and clean room! Everything about this hotel was awesome! The breakfast provided is above what is typically provided at other places! You won't regret booking a night here!!

Stayed one night on way to Vegas as it was too long to drive with the kids in the back. Booked this through hotels.com and managed to get the hotel room 20% cheaper than we were offered in the reception of the hotel. so had bizarre situation of booking the room with hotels.com whilst standing outside the hotel to get a better room rate! Hotel was […] good and comfortable and provided our only swim of the entire vacation as it had an indoor pool and it was just too cold in December to swim in any of the other hotel pools as they were all outdoors. The kids loved it and was worth booking this room just so the kids could have a swim. The room was nice and had two TV's, one with the sofa bed and the other a queen bed - no complaints room wise whatsoever and would stay there again. Hotel let itself down by having plastic knives and forks with the breakfast buffet - that was v. cheap and not a good experience from a hotel claiming to be of a good standard. This was pretty much a 'do it yourself' hotel with not many staff around and does not have any facilities for food other than the breakfast buffet - we saw many people bring pizza in though there are a couple of restaurant adjacent to and very near the hotel. nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. walking distance to rest and shops. highly recomm it.

I chose this hotel based on other comments I had read and were pleasently surprised at the accommodations considering that Barstow is not really a tourist town. We arrived late and were very tired but slept very well. We woke refreshed in the morning and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We will definately stay here again.

Breakfast was exceptional!!

I was curious what the hotel would be like when I booked it, but once I got there, I was more then pleased! This place was great! Great & clean room, great service & breakfast, and a super hotel in general. I'll go back there everytime.

My wife and I were very impressed with the location and the hotel in Barstow. We arrived late and were tired from traveling all day and did not want to spend alot of time looking for a place to have dinner. There was a wide sellection of places to eat in walking distance, but I stopped in the Chilies across the parking lot and picked up a togo menu […] and we called in from our room, walked down and picked it up. The desk asked if we needed waters to have with our dinner and brought out some and gave them to us. The room was modern and updated, all was new looking as was the hotel.
