quite a different hotel in a converted old building. Staff very pleasant but rooms are a little old fashioned. good location for the city centre but stuck right in the middle of the complex leeds one way system and a nightmare for parking. I had to park nearly 10 mins walk away and pay over £10 per night for the privilege

Overall we were pleased: hotel staff was friendly, hotel was clean, en suite accommodation always a plus. However, the bed was about as comfortable as a brick - enough said. Also, had to book with hotels.com otherwise would have ended up spending about twice the price if booked directly.

We spent one night at the Ramada Encore, Birmingham City Centre. Check in was quick & smooth. The room was clean and modern & comfortable. Shower room / bathroom was spotlessly clean. Good for a night kip. Area in middle of renovation.. parking £12.50 per day..... Was disappointed. On a good note, loved the shower/ wet room....

The staff were all welcoming and friendly and check-in/check-out went without a hitch. The room was spotless and generally comfortable but the sofa would not be comfortable for a long sit watching TV. Noise transmitted easily from the corridor into the room. The hotel is well situated for getting about central Birmingham.

Nice room, compact but with everything you need for warm confortable base after a night out. Quiet room despite no doubt being full of pre-Christmas party goers. Breakfast and parking seriously overpriced, considering what you're paying for the room. overall it was ok. the main issue was parking. no spaces in their own car park, no spaces near by so cost £20.00 to park for the night a good 10 min walk away. some issue with getting our room change, it smelt and flror was still wet. i was told they had no more rooms! only when i asked for my money back did they mange to get me another room, which […] was ok. Rooms were basic and very clinical. Expensive for what we got - and that was without breakfast, not sure if this was just because the Christmas Markets were on. Would not look to stay there again.

This hotel is OK but not brilliant. The 'family' room was quite small and difficult to move around in. (we were 3 adults staying). The shower tended to let water seep into the room as other reviewers have noted. Hotel staff were very helpful The car parking was secure and private. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast which was not worth the money at all and very basic. I would stay again but room only and grab a coffee and croissant after checkout!!

Within easy walking distance of the train station and the bull ring and not to far from the night life of broad street this hotel has a good location for everything you want to do in Birmingham. We got a good deal for 2 nights . Arrived at the hotel on friday only to be told parking would be £25, £12.50 each day which was extortionate. If you wanted room service there was a charge of £5. We decided to eat in the hotel that evening and ordered fish and chips- this was heavily fried and the batter on the fish was so hard I could not eat it. Breakfast […] was £10 each even if you only had toast, which again was a bit of a rip off. The room was made up during the day, but no fresh towels or refill of tea/coffee/sugar etc were refilled. We had to ring down to reception to request that some was sent up, an hour later we were still waiting, in the end my husband went down to collect the items. The best thing was probably the walk in shower. I would not stay here again as I don't think it's good value for money, neither will I recommend the Ramada Encore. Читати далі

Hotel was a great location for getting into the city centre on foot, Mailbox is literally 5 mins walk. Hotel was quiet,rooms were clean. Downsides were we booked a twin room but got given a double - and the bed didn't seem as big as a normal double. Plus the room was a disabled room with a wet room and emergency cords. The Ramada Encore in central Birmingham is definitely a three star hotel, with good service and excellent levels of cleanliness. However, I couldn't help thinking that its whole wasn't as good as its parts! The thing is that everything was there. I had a large bedroom with a desk, an armchair and a suitcase rest. For anyone travelling to Birmingham by rail, this hotel is great, being a five to ten minute walk from New Street Station. I'd recommend it for a business traveller, in particular, but leisure travellers may find it a bit lacking in any type of personal touch. I am not sure what it is about any hotel that makes it a pleasant place to stay, as opposed to a good place to stay. My view is that the Ramada Encore is functional and fit for purpose but oh so dull. Wonderful hotel & staff. After reading some of the reviews we were slightly concerned about the quality of our booking but on arrival we were more than happy to find friendly polite staff, a very clean hotel & our room was clean, tidy, spacious, bright & comfortable. Hotel room quite comfortable and clean with nice bathroom. Has a restuarant and bar if you don't want to leave the hotel. Alternatively there is a Tesco 4 mins walk up the hill where we got our sunday paper and a quick breakfast. Can walk to the shopping centre and Birmingham New Street station. Would use again

Handy for overnight. Wouldn't stay for longer, not due to hotel, but for the area it is in. Breakfast was booked via Hotel.com, but hotel did not recognise that and had to re-book it. Car parking was £2.50 more than advertised on Hotel.com website.

Stayed there for two nights and I would definetly stay there again. Modern, clean and friendly staff make this hotel worth every penny.

It is a very nice hotel and service was great. For the price it was worth it. location is ok. Overall rating we were very pleased.

Stylish hotel reaaaaly close to the trainstation and bull ring! Very friendly staff at reception! Will deff go again

parking at the encore is £12.50 per day, but everytime you park your car, you have to use the intercom to get in and out, also with customer entrance. sofa bed isnt as good as i thought it would be, but we finally layed out on the floor instead, which was much better!

We stayed at the Ramada for convenience, a city centre wedding and expensive cab fares made this a sensible alternative. Our booking was a complete mess, even though I had confirmation, bit it was resolved when I got home. The room was serviceable, clean and comfortable, everything we needed. However, the hotel was full of very noisy hen and stag parties, […] who were very vocal. It was a warm night, no air conditioning and with the window open it was incredibly noisy. This Hotel is well situated. It is a ten minute walk from the Bull Ring in one direction and Broad Street in the other. It was clean, comfortable and far enough away from the main hustle and bustle that you could get a good nights sleep.

This is a modern, clean hotel. Fitted out very well with great walk-in wet rooms. Very central with a small secure carpark, which is a bonue because the area is not inspiring - but no different to the center of any major city. Usuful 24h garage next door for emergency supplies... Har spenderat en långhelg på Ramada Encore i Birmingham och känner mig så otroligt nöjd! Hotellet är extremt välplacerat med två minuters gång till en mängd härliga restauranger, både för den större familjen och för mindre sällskap. Med bara tio minuters gång till The Bullring, Birminghams shoppingdistrikt, är det perfekt för den som vill ha en härlig […] helg med shopping och mat - till ett VÄLDIGT förmånligt pris. Hotellet var både modernt och fräscht. Trevlig personal, fina rum och en jättefin restaurang/bar som serverade god mat till låga priser, dygnet runt. Prima hotel op 7 min. lopen van New Street Station en de Bullring. Prima kamer, ruim en compleet. Ook ontbijt is uitstekend. Gratis WiFi in de openbare ruimten. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Et rigtig fint og godt hotel, super beliggenhed....men meget dårlig mad. Rådne frugt og alt alt for gammel kød pålæg til morgen mad. Fine og gode værelser med ok rengøring. Dog er sengene ud over det sædvanlige hårde.

Hotell med bra läge i Birmingham. Bra standard på frukosten men ingen vidare restaurang/bar för kvällen.

Meget rent og vellugtende. Stille nabolag og meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Absolut anvendeligt til alle tider.

Nice basic hotel near the MailBox (2min walk) and New Street railway station (7 min walk). Additional fee for internet access, not so nice.
