Large and clean room (2 tween beds), however no ocean view from room (they have a high terrace with good views). TV with English and Spanish channels, air conditioner and heater. Hotel is clean and safe. Receptionists are helpful. Located very close to OIA town center, and 15 minute walk to the north of the island (sunset watch point)

This was a great hotel in a perfect location in Oia. The room was cozy and the hotel provides a complimentary bottle of wine. Free breakfast was also included every morning. The view directly behind the hotel is beautiful...that alone made it worth it. The only aspect a little disappointing was the sunset terrace had a building partially blocking where […] the sun sets. The hotel and people there are wonderful. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. They also went above and beyond--after checking out they allowed us to leave our bags, come back later that day and shower before we caught our flight. They even called our next hotel in Athens to make sure they had a shuttle ready for us at the airport when we arrived. […] Lastly, if you are in Santorini for the views then you must stay in Oia. Our great stay starting with the bag man waiting at the taxi/bus stop for us at 9pm without us even asking for it. The complex and pool are beautiful and the central location in Oia doesn't get any better. Only a block from the bus/taxi stop, centered on the main shopping street, and even has a sunset terrace. Room was a huge cave style, domed room […] with a upstairs and down stairs bedroom, not bad for a standard double room As far a hotels in Europe go the breakfast has great and had everything from eggs, to fruit, and a ton of juices. Superb location and the hotel has some great amenities..the pool was large and well maintained, service was very friendly, and the rooms were spacious! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Aethrio is a very nice boutique hotel right in the midst of Oia with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The staff, Marco, Peter and Georgia were wonderful. They were attentive, friendly and took care of any needs we had. The views are spectacular especially from the rooftop deck, you can see incredible sunsets up there. The room was spacious […] and very clean, the beds were a bit hard but I understand that is typical of beds there. Oia is breathtaking and Aethrio is a great place to call home while you are there. Beautifuly located in the heart of Oia on the main church plaza and next to the worl famous blue domes for a must picture. The service was excellent!!! Ask for Georgia who is magnificent and will help from getting you a glass of wine, to enjoying world class sunset on the terrraze to recommending excellent must do restaurants within walking distance. […] This was trully and excellent experience and a true flavor of Greece.......more than we imagined. The staff at the Aethrio was very friendly and accommodating to our young (6 years old) kids. The location was great and the room was quite big.

This hotel offers a stunning view of the 'sunset' in Oia from the private balcony/rooftop. The hotel also offers very good breakfast and greek yoghurt. The staff are helpful and friendly. Would definitely return for my next visit.

both my wife and I had a great time in Aethrio. The hotel is located pretty much in the prettiest area of the prettiest town of this heavenly island. It has its own sunset terrace, The people is incredibly helpful .Breakfast was great. I can't think of anything wrong.

We stayed here two nights in a Superior room. It was just like in the pictures. It was near everything and they even have their own rooftop terrace to view the sunset. We were in the highest room and the water pressure wasn't so great in the shower. We also didn't have hot water for showers two evenings in a row. Not a huge deal, but something to be […] aware of. This hotel has outside "cave-like" rooms, the traditional villa-style in this part of Santorini (Oia). in our villa there was a large bedroom with sitting area (mini fridge), small bathroom (stand-up shower), small loft area with additional twin bed, which leads out to the rooftops .. some of which are private..some are shared but spacious. .. from […] all of them, you can see the breathtaking sunset and/or the caldera ..depending on which direction your room faces.. either seemed beautiful but we had the sunset view. the hotel is directly in the center of the Oia square location with restaurants steps away, churches, shopping, and the most beautiful picturesque scenery you can imagine. everything is as blue in real life as it looks on the computer! they provide breakfast each morning.. it is basic but substantial .. there is no on-site restaurant but again, there are plenty of great places just steps away (blue sky was a good place to eat). the pool area is beautiful and was not crowded at all.. there is a small nice seating area outside of the lobby right near the pool as well. .. everything was as expected and better here.. i recommend this hotel and this part of Santorini, though Fira and other parts we stayed in and drove through were equally beautiful..just a little different in that , Oia is a small village type of place with a square that is the center of the town.. as opposed to Fira which is larger and has a town area in addition to the main shopping and restaurant square area .. and seemingly more hotels in Fira, too. if you choose to stay in Oia, the location of this hotel is everything.. if you are in any other of the surrounding areas in this section of santorini, you will have walking to do or will have to rent an ATV (cant rent scooters without a european license) or car to get to the places you want to be..... the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful here... it is NOT an updated/state of the art hotel.. it is an old world sort of charming place, s Читати далі

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay there tremendously. It is easily walkable from all the attractions of Oia, but far enough from any hussle and bussle (bus station, sunset attraction) to be relaxing. We found it to be very quiet and peaceful. It would be a fantastic place for an extended stay because of the apartment […] style. First of all, as other reviewers point out, this is not a cliff-edge property. BUT, it is very close to all Oia amenities and a much better alternative than staying in any of the hotels in Thira, which I found very busy and touristy. The rooms in this hotel are apartment style and are huge + they have a balcony. The hotel has a nice, very usable pool […] and a beautiful common area. Everything is very clean. The French family that operates the place is quite helpful and friendly. The only complain I have is the quality of the breakfast,, which I think is below the standard of all the other services in this property. I think they could set a nice table in the terrace in front of the pool and that would greatly boost the breakfast experience (currently breakfast is served in a rather dark room next to the reception but they do have tables outside so you can take your food from there and sit in the terrace). If you speak Greek, or perhaps German,you will be fine. However there were some language barriers since we did not. After walking to the internet cafe every day, four days in to the trip, I was finally informed that there was internet access in the hotel reception area for free, and in the villas for a price. Though I was unable to connect to their […] internet service. There is no bar, or restaurant at the hotel. They have a shelf of sodas, and bottles of liquor in the reception area, and they can mix you up a very basic drink, but there is no actual bar. And there is no food to eat at the hotel other than the very basic breakfast buffet that they provide in the mornings. You must walk to a market, or a restaurant, which are very close by, but quite expensive. There is also nobody to help you with your luggage, and the cobble stone walkways, and stairs were quite daunting while carrying heavy suitcases. So, if you choose this hotel, pack lightly! If you want to go to a beach, there are none that are close, and you must rent a car, or another mode of transportation to get to one. Though if you just want to stay in Oia, the location is perfect. The pool is beautiful, clean and quite well kept. The rooms are quaint, and clean, and all have something unique about them. There is also a sunset terrace that is lovely to watch the famous Oia sunset from. If the manager is there, she is quite helpful. If not, though the staff is sweet, there is potential for misunderstandings due to language barriers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. Though I would only stay at this hotel if you don't mind being far from the beaches, and if you are willing to rent a car, and drive the windy roads of Santorini. If you just want to be in Oia, and relax by a pool with a fabulous view, then this hotel could be for you! Читати далі

The Aethrio hotel is a nice peaceful location in the middle of busy Oia. The hotel is well kept, the staff is very helpful and the room we had was huge. The bathrooms could use an upgrade but overall it was a wonderful location for exploring the town and visiting the rest of the island.

Πολύ φιλικό και πρόθυμο το προσωπικό για να εξυπηρετήσει και σε ότι έχει σχέσει με το ξενοδοχείο, αλλά και πληροφορίες σχετικά με το νησί και τα αξιοθέατά του. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο, άνετο αλλά δεν ένοιωθες άνετα. Ήταν ψυχρό θα το προτιμούσαμε πιο φιλόξενο από θέμα διακόσμησης. イアの夕日を見るために風車が見える洞窟型ホテル（ちょっと高め）を1日とアエトリオに2日泊まりました。今から思うと3日間アエトリオに宿泊すれば良かったと思います。アエトリオではプールやベンチがあって日中過ごす場所があるので、お昼の時間をホテルでゆっくり過ごしたい方には向いていると思います。私は嫁と二人でイアの夕日を見ることとサントリーニ島の観光が目的だったので、日中はホテル外にいました。今度行くことのであれば、日中はホテル内でまったりして、夕方から夕日を見るために散策しようと思います。
