Good location. The breakfast was okay, but nothing more. The staff was okay, they are not that service minded actually. You live at this hotel because it has a GREAT location. The room has a Ukraine style, but very clean. I can recommend it, I thought it was really smooth to have everything outside my window.

The mattress and the bed felt like 30 years old. Doors were falling apart. I had to pay extra for Internet. There are better hotels near by.

You cannot beat the location! Our room was on the 12th floor facing the front which gave us a great view. You can enter an underground mall which connects to the subway a few paces from the front door. The in-lobby strip club is handy, although I didn't get a chance to visit it. Maybe next time. Breakfast is basic, but adequate.

We had a weekend there, and we can recomend this hotel. Perfect location and a nice room. This is a hotel with "russian" style.

The room was a good size and clean, however the staff is unfriendly, even rude and unhelpful. Prizes of services are high and for free in other hotels, like internet. The Porncentre in the lobby is very dominantly present and the lobby overall unpleasant. Only real plus is great location, for the price.

This big hulking hotel mainly exists for business clients. The morning breakfast is good but very, very crowded. There is a strip joint in the lobby. English is hard to find spoken. Right out the front door is the underground mall and subway system, quite convenient. It is adequate, nothing more.

great location i would recommend this hotel mainly its great to get too from airport not by taxi by bus and metro its let down by the noise if i have room at of the back of hotel if need to open ur door plus i was very disappoint is breakfast if love eggs ur are in luck but saying that nice hotel in i go back again

Great location in the City Center, close to everything and also 5 min. walk to the Metro. The strip club entrance on the lobby floor across from the front desk was a bit tacky.

"Great Location"
You could see Indepedence Square from the hotel and it was within a short walking distance of Kreschatik, where you can also get on the metro. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and the staff was helpful. Location is great, right in the center on town. Most of the major sights are with in a 30 minute walk of the hotel. Hotel itself is being remodled. Formally Hotel Moscow you will still feel the old Soviet mentality here. Each floor has a desk at the elevators maned by a chambermaid 24/7. They also oversee who comes and goes into your room. Ask for a […] Newer room, the old rooms are not very pleasant. They appear to be from the 50s and smell like it too. A single room is small. 8x9 feet. Single bed. Tv has about 20 channels of which 2 were english. The hotel movies system does not work. Hotel advertises that they have Wifi in the hotel. Yes they do but you have to pay for it or you can buy an internet card on the street and use the phone line in your room for dial up service. Few of the staff speak Ukrainian, most speak Russian. It is very unfortunate that most of the people in Kiev speak Russian and if you speak Ukrainian to them they will answer in Russian. Bring your own shampoo, the little packet the hotel provides you is not very good. Breakfast buffet is good with a good selection. Coffee could be a bit stronger. Overall the hotel is a nice place. The location was good.You had to ask for a toilet paper.At the breakfast ,atendant will sit and stere into your mouth.Food was o.k. for Ukraine,but in comperacing with rest of the world-it's could be better.

We were a group of 4 friends travelling together. The location of Hotel Ukraine was excellent!! Very central. I would have to say, is there anywhere else to stay???? Check in was very easy and quick. The staff was very accommodating. I was happy to leave my key with the attendant on my floor - never a problem picking it up. We had a small upgrade (can't […] remember what it was) and ended up with renovated rooms. Very clean and plenty big enough. You can not find a more central hotel. Hotel Ukraina is located on Independence Square next to the Independence Mounument and main metro station. All main sights, attractions and night life a within a 2min radius.

Avainten saannissa vaikeuksia, kerrospalvelija herra ties missä.. Vessaan tuli vesi vain yhtenä päivänä, suihku onneksi toimi koko ajan. Aamupala erinomainen. Respa tilaa pimeitä takseja, asia selviää vasta autossa. Bresneviläisen hengen hotelli, henkilökunnalta turha odottaa hymyä.

Budde i 9. etg. Utslitt/nedslitt bad. Ikkje særleg appetittleg. Men såg jo at ein annan korridor i same etasje var under renovering, så kanskje resten av denne etasjen vert fin? потягивает совком, но с этим борются. номера отремонтированы, мелкие огрехи почти не заметны. персонал доброжелателен. вид из номеров на майдан очень хорош. из-за расположения можно закрывать глаза на многое. в целом - остался доволен.

Personeel is erg onvriendelijk en je moet betalen voor diensten zoals internet dat eigenlijk overall in het land gratis is. De lobby is onaangename en de sex-cafe vervelend dominant aanwezig.

"Glimrende beliggenhet"
Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet for et besøk til vakre Kiev. Da vi kom til hotellet kl. 3 på natten måtte vi selv legge på dynetrekk og finne frem dynene i skapet. Vi fikk heller ikke balkong og city view som det stod i informasjonen om rommet. Jeg vil anbefale hotellet pga. beliggenhet, men det bærer preg av å være i "gamle Sovjet". Hotellet hade helt klart bästa läget i Kiev. Rummet var slitet och trasigt kakel i badrummet. Stora dammtussar under sängen. Dålig service och dålig engelska hos personalen. Frukosten var bra. Annorlunda mot hemma, men det är ju därför man åker på semester. Lakanen byttes efter ett par dagar. Gott om extra täcken och kuddar så det gjorde inte så mycket […] att värmen i rummet inte fungerade som den skulle. Konstig lukt i korridorerna. Dålig värme på vattnet i duschen. The Hotell is a classic Soviet Hotell. You have to experiance it at least once :) The front desk are not the happiest people greeting you The rooms do not all have AC -So check that prior to booking. "Das Hotel Ukraine liegt sehr zentral"
Das Hotel Ukraine liegt in unmittelbarer Nahe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich kann dieses sehr empfehlen. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sauber. Leider hat der Fernseher nicht funktioniert. Die Angestellten waren freundlich und hilfsbereit.

"Bra läge"
Hotellet ligger centralt till och standarden är helt ok med tanke på att det är ett fattigt land. Stora rum med bra luft och tyst på kvällarna. Vi bodde innan på ett annat hotell Krechatyk och där var luften väldigt dålig på rummen (gamla heltäckningsmattor) samt mycket oväsen från gatan nedanför.

Olimme varanneet Juniorisviitin. meidät majoitettiin normaaliin kahden hengen huoneeseen. Kun vastaanoton henkilökunnan kanssa yritimme asiaa selvitellä, kukaan heistä ei puhunut englantia, eikä saksaa. Käytettävissä oleva huone oli kyllä O.K. Aamiainen oli vaatimaton. Kerroshoitajat oliva hyvin avuliaita.

There are both cheaper and more luxurious alternatives in Kyiv but this hotel is THE silhouette of the Orange revolution, right in the middle of everything that this great city has to offer. It's an old but well kept and updated Soviet mastodont. This hotel is for everyone: the family on vacation, the traveller looking for a quick stop or a long rest, […] and indeed the businessperson. Rooms are large and functional. Everything works. Nice looking guarded parking right in front of the hotel with easy access to your car. Travellers of all categories would find it easy to stay here. Отель расположен в самом центре Киева, с видом на майдан незалежности. Номер большой, после ремонта, все основное, включая кондиционер, в номере было. Кровати в номере twin очень узкие, можно и упасть:( Обстановка в номерах одной категории несколько отличается. В каких-то номерах кровати жесткие, в других - мягкие. Wi-fi платный. Сейф в отеле - 10 ячеек […] на 300 с чем-то номеров :) Больше всего не понравился завтрак, малосъедобный и не меняющийся. Коридорные, о которых многие писали, совершенно не мешали, наоборот, всегда были готовы помочь. Читати далі
