The pickup and drop off from the airport were incredibly convenient and free. The staff were excellent and friendly. The only restaurant within reach, Roberts Restaurant was closed on the Saturday night I was there and so chose from a limited range of food which was heated to order. We room was very clean and had a very comfortable feel to it. The breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at Hyatt place properties before and always enjoyed them. I chose this property because the rate was much lower than the downtown Salt Lake Hyatt Place, and came with free parking. We stayed in a king bed room with a separate sitting area. We were traveling with friends who were also staying at the Hyatt Place so it was nice to be able to […] lounge in the sitting area instead of feeling like we were all hanging out in the bedroom. The airport was visible from our room but because of sound insulation and the fact that the airport only occasionally uses the West runways the noise wasn't much of an issue. There is, however, not much sound insulation between the room and the halls. Normal-volume conversations in the hall were audible from inside the room. The pool was nice but I would have preferred a hot tub in addition to the pool. The first morning's breakfast was a madhouse. As soon as food was put out people were descending on it like wolves. Staff seemed very overwhelmed and ill-prepared to keep up with demand. Other guests were rude in their requests for more bagels, cereal, etc. so that only added to staff frustration. The second morning was much more calm and the breakfast bar was well-stocked. Breakfast items were more limited in choice than other hotels', but everything was tasty. My only real complaint is the location of the hotel. It is located in an industrial/business park. There is nothing to eat anywhere near the hotel unless you want a $9 sandwich from the hotel itself. Driving into downtown SLC is quick, but making the run over and over became annoying. If you plan on spending much time downtown I would highly recommend paying a premium for a downtown hotel, or at very least one of the airport hotels on the East side of the airport. Читати далі

Great place! Staff was very helpful. They called a taxi for a shuttle to the airport before their shuttle officially started at 5:30am. They also had a full continental breakfast available at 5am despite officially opening their full hot breakfast at 6am. Great job and very nice stay!!!

For the price, this is my favorite hotel to stay in. It is always very clean and in good repair. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. I will stay at Hyatt hotels in the future.

Comfortable rooms; sectional couch is a huge plus and there is a little fridge too. Great bed. Nice breakfast buffet with oatmeal and breakfast sandwhiches and french toast in addition to the cold items. Kiosk check in was fast and convenient. Very nice room. The location is grim. There are no services nearby. It is a 15 min walk to another hotel to get a meal. There are no stores in the immediate neighborhood. This is the case for all hotel near the SLC airport........It is a nice hotel, however.

The ammenities and room size were great at any price. Down side is the hotel is in a kind of industrial / hotels area. Hotel restaraunts were available but if you wanted something else you needed to travel 3-4 miles to get to stores, fast food, etc..

We have 3 kids and had more then enough room for our whole family. The twin beds, pull out couch, and provided crib was plenty of room for us. The biggest surprise- the noise. This hotel is literally right next to a runway and next to I-80. Not a sound. I didn't even know we were next to an airport and never heard the road noise. My family slept sound. […] The morning breakfast was better then average. The only downfall was I think we hit a busy time so they couldn't keep up with the hot stuff like the pancakes, etc. so they were out of a lot of things while we sat there with the kids. The place looked brand new! The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Pool was clean and warm. If the price is right, we would totally love to stay here again!!!

The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in. The hotel is beautiful (I love Hyatt Place!) and it was very comfortable for four adults. I just needed a place to stay to catch a flight the next morning, but wish I could've stayed longer!

Flying from Costa Rica to Spokane Washington. We stayed in Salt Lake City. The Hyatt Place was a warm welcome after a hectic days travel. Everything was more than we expected. Keep up the good work!

The bed was SO comfy! It was a great room. The only downfall was that it was next to the airport, but it wasn't bad.

The hotel was great, especially at the price on hotels.com. The front desk clerk, I think his name is Matt, was fantastic (so much so that I have to mention him in this review). If you need to stay near the Salt Lake airport, I'd highly recommend Hyatt Place. Room included a king size bedroom & a comfortable living room with flat screen TV. Free Starbucks & Tazo teas; also very nice, civilized free breakfast (a cut above the usual, nicely presented). Free Wall St Journal & complimentary 24 hr airport shuttle. the hotel was clean and very roomy, had a big screen tv and the staff was really friendly. it has a cafe in it but there isn't much on the menu, so its okay for a lunch but not really a dinner. I would definately stay there again.

Very close to airport, yet surprisingly quiet. The room was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We did request an additional blanket which we never received, but other than that our stay was great. Great hotel. I have never been disappointed with any Hyatt Place's I've stayed in. Nice spacious rooms, clean, comfy bed and quiet.

I stay here often and the place is always perfect! Clean and modern plus a great staff and 2 mins to the airport! You cannot go wrong here! Anyone you see giving this hotel anything but a positive review is a stinking crybaby/whiner!

The staff was friendly, the room was very clean. Down side was no vending machines so had to pay for two bottles of over priced water in the lobby. Also the room I was in was somewhat smaller then the typical rooms I'm use to. They provided easy check in and out service as well.

I stayed in this hotel twice while driving through Salt Lake City via I-80. Both times went really smooth. The hotel is in a great shape, the guest rooms are not huge but very cozy, have everything you need and are full of all kinds of gadgets. The room was very clean and comfortable. After a trans-Atlantic flight, I met pleasant staff and a great room. Only negative aspect: Nothing else (e.g. shops, reataurants, gas stations, etc.) in the area. Will use same hotel on my return trip.

Hotel is off I-80 at exit 114. Nothing close by. You will need to drive to find food, shopping ect.

Easy access to Downtown, Brigham Young University and University of Utah, hospitals and many other areas; great site seeing; Mormon Tabernacle and downtown Salt Lake. Could not have had a better stay anywhere. Very Comfortable and Clean with #1 Customer Service from the front desk, security to the maid service. I would highly recommend.

It was different to have the bedroom lights & sitting area lights on the same switch. It would have been nice to have clean glasses & cups for 2 daily & room service nightly when called for.

Very clean, quiet and seemed newly renovated. Staff was friendly.

hotel was great. clean, spacious, conveniently located to slc airport. the only thing that struck me as odd was that the front desk help had many duties to fulfill. all i wanted to do was check in yet i had to wait while they got nachos and candy for another guest , leaving the front desk vacant for a period of time.

This stay was blissful from the moment we checked in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous, clean, new and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable and the room had a large and comfortable couch. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Strongly recommended and well worth paying a little more.

Excellent hotel with a superb staff and high standards for performance. Current policies of Hotel.com make the benefit of Hyatt Passport loyalty program difficult to realize and sustain any benefit in coosing over surrounding hotels. Also the restricted US I-80 access is limite to west bound trafic exiting to the hotel and east bound only traffic to […] the airport the only options. Pros: Good place for the money & a 3-star hotel. Very spacious king room & large flat screen. Great tiled stand up glass shower. Nice sectional couch and ottoman and nice to have a mini fridge. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Hotel was very clean and quiet for the most part and also convenient to the airport. Cons: The complimentary wifi […] was its so slow, i couldn't even load a single webpage. (Might be different in other rooms/ parts of the hotel and they do have a ethernet cable option if your laptop supports it). The bed was fairly hard and lacked pillow options. (All pillows in our room were the same fiber filled kind & if thats not your preference, they're rather uncomfortable). The continental breakfast is very limited to sweet baked goods (waffles, bagels, pastries etc & needs a few more options or full breakfast options: eggs, sausage etc). Hotel is very close to the airport so you do get some noise from planes taking off. (Our wing was the closest to the runways). Nearest stores, restaurants are in SLC about 8-10 miles away. Overall, I would recommend this Hyatt to others. Its a good place for the price. Most of the cons are personal preference things like the hardness of the bed & pillows and only some people will want to take advantage of the WiFi. The staff were great, the room a nice size and I'd rather pay a bit extra for a decent full breakfast. Check out is 12 noon which is also very nice. This is a one year old hotel, that looks & feels modern. They forgo some amenities in order to cut costs, e.g. no room service. You can order food 24 hours/day, but you have to go to the dining area to pick it up. It is only about 5 minutes from the airport. If you're more into aestheitcs over amenities, then this is the place for you.
