The Inn is lovely. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating. They were even able to handle my gluten free breakfast request with ease. Some of the rooms were very large, some were small, and our room was in the middle. Although it was not very big, it was so well laid out so well that it was very comfortable. David and Margaret are truly 'salt of the Earth' kind of people! You couldn't ask for kinder, nicer inn keepers!! David & Margaret (and Murphy) were wonderful hosts. Margaret's breakfasts were delicious. It was a great choice for our first anniversary trip. We stayed in the Castle room, and felt like royalty :)

The B&B was convenient, very clean, tastefully decorated and the breakfasts were outstanding. Hosts are congenial and helpful. Overall the stay was very pleasant and would stay there again.

Went to Gettysburg and this was listed as an option for a local B&B. It is about a 40 minute drive from the Battlefield but worth it.Unique rooms that are beautifully maintained and with the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Terrific breakfast and wonderful host. Highly recommend.

Awesome place. I was there for business and it was a refreshing change from the normal places I stay at. Dave & Margaret were awesome hosts.

Nice owners, excellent food, lovely yard, clean room. Only negative was that I had to enter through the kitchen which was cluttered, but worse than that was that I had to pass the owner's living quarters which were in a terrible disarray. This place is great, and we will definitely stay again. We were greeted by name at the door when we arrived, and were shown to our room, which was clean and well-adorned. The keepers thought of a lot of small touches and their warmness was readily apparent. Breakfast both mornings we stayed was phenomenal and they were more than accomodating to our […] special dietary needs (gluten free and vegetarian). We got a history lesson about the property when we checked in, and they were great about suggesting things to around the local area. My husband and I stayed at Burgandy Lane the night before we left for our honeymoon. This was my first B&B experience. The people owner were lovely people, very accomodating. The rooms were IMMACULATE! I don't eat breakfast but everyone said the eggs benedict was outstanding. All of the rooms were occupied, several by people who are regulars. Dave and margaret made us feel very much at home ,we were greeted at the front door and soon felt part of the family. They have used their imagination to make this Bed and Breakfast hotel quiet unique. All the rooms are themed. We enjoyed our stay at this B&B and would definitely stay again. The room was clean and comfortable. A little small, but we were comfortable. There was internet access, and a community refrigerator/microwave. We had breakfast both days of our stay and THEY WERE BOTH OUTSTANDING! This lady can cook. Highly recommended.

At first glance this B&B has a nondescript front and a rustic back view. But once inside you see the work put in by the owners Dave and Margaret. All the work is done by themselves. They have done an incredible job of decorating and furnishing the room according to its theme. We stayed in the Castle Room and the king sized bed was very comfortable indeed. […] The breakfast was a real home-cooked deal. The best part of staying in a B&B is the interaction with the other guests at breakfast. We were surprised to learn that one of the couples lived just five minutes away and were here because of renovations to their home. I took my wife to one of the best B&B that we have every stayed in for her 40th Birthday. I had asked about a nice place to take my wife for dinner, they made a few suggestions. Once we made our choice, I told Dave […] & Margret what place we were to dine at ,as we walked into the very nice restaunt, I had asked if we needed a reservation. To my wife & I surprise they were expecting us , Margret had called ahead and made the reservations for us. That is what I call great P.R. Room is very neat and comfortable. The bathroom looked like everything is new and shiny. Room is on the small side but the decor is well done and space is efficiently layed out. David and Margaret have decorated each room in their B&B based on a theme. My room was "Out of Africa" and had a pelt on the wall and carvings and hangings in abundance. However, the amenities were modern and convenient. The B&B is close to a historic restaurant, the 1912 Hoover House, recommended by my hosts. Food and service were outstanding there. Margaret […] provided an egg and cheese creation on a puffy flatbread, preceded by fresh fruit. It made thoughts of lunch unnecessary. This B&B is very nice. The owners are veru friendly and accomodating. The room was beautiful with a private bath and veranda. We loved our stay so much we have already reccomended it to our friends.

I was very pleased with this B&B. There was ample off-street parking in the rear of the building, good internet connectivity and even a TV in the room. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this B&B during our recent visit to Gettysburg. We cannot say enough good things about our stay and the warm, attentive hospitality showed to us by the innkeepers, Margaret and David. Our room "Out of Africa", was cozy and very comfortable. The table was set beautifully and the food was delicious: fresh cut-up fruit, orange juice, water with a thin slice of lemon, homemade quiche with an always-full cup of coffee and smiles all around. We loved that we were twenty or so minutes away from Gettysburg and on a main street in an adorable town. Our dinner at the restaurant a short walk right down the street was also excellent. We highty recommend the Burgundy Lane Bed and Breakfast for a relaxing, comfortable, and affordable stay. We appreciated very much how hard the innkeepers worked to attend to us and their guests. Dave and Margaret are wonderful hosts whose attention to detail ensures that your every need is met. Ideally located between I-81 and the hustle and bustle of Gettysburg Battlefield in a lovely historic section of town. We really loved this B&B. It was super comfy and cozy. I would recommend it to anyone! It was very convenient to get to Gettysburg from the B&B.

Burgandy Lane is a perfect spot. The hosts are gracious and accomodating. The location was central to all we wanted to see and do. Doug and Margaret recommended some spots and local attractions that we would have missed without them. Breakfast was feast every day! We are looking forward to our next visit.

David and Margaret were the quientessential examples of perfect innkeepers. From the moment we rang the bell announcing our arrival, to saying our goodbyes, we felt they were friends we had known for a long time.
