Best Western Hotel Nagoya - Нагоя

The staff was super friendly (and very easy on the eyes)! For the price, one could not ask for more. About 5 minutes away from the subway station (Sakae) and TV Tower, it sits at a comfortable location to the party spots (10 minutes from ID Bar, Steps, Cream, and the Nishiki area). The room size was expected for being Japanese, but it's significantly […] more roomy than a typical Japanese hotel. It was quiet, clean, and the bathrooms were definitely spacious. The only annoying thing is that the elevators always go down to the lobby when not in use... so if you're near the top floor (I was on 13), be prepared to wait for that sucker to come all the way up when you're ready to go down. Good location, friendly staff, some convenient shops and restaurant nearby. The staff suggested me a very nice restaurant for 鰻魚蓋飯 just within 5 mins walk from the hotel. Besides, you can do some shopping at the department stores and underground streets in this area.

I like this hotel very much as it is just 5 mins away from the Sakae subway. the hotel staff is very friendly. he even help me on the next trip when I having trouble getting info from the bus terminal to Takayama. Great hotel, I would like to come back again next time!

The room is small, but clean and confortable. The main problem was that the hotel says that has wireless internet connection BUT IT DOES NOT!!!!! It has some kind of contract with a Japanese telecom company but you must have a contract with this company to gain access. Since I am a tourist, of course I wouldn't have a contract with a Japanese company! So […] I found myself in a Japanese city with no internet... and this is terrible. And is false advertisement. I've just completed a memorable stay at this lovely hotel. While the room was a bit small by American standards, everything was neat, clean and well stocked. The concierge and staff provided excellent assistance both prior to my arrival and during my stay which I greatly appreciated as a new foreign traveler. The only minor discomfort was the size of […] the ironing board (table top) and the scarcity of an iron and ironing board (you have to call for it and return it promptly). I will use this hotel again. The Starbucks in the lobby was a welcomed familiarity and there are an abundance of eating, shopping, site seeing opportunities in walking distance. Located about 10 mins walk to the Sakae Stn. and situated along the main road - safe and convenient with Starbucks on the ground floor, Mos Burger directly across the road, MacDonalds, a 7-eleven and two Lawsons outlets a few doors away. Our excellent stay was marred by an unfortunate mistranslation/incompetence by an employee. When asked about the available laundry service, a front desk attendant told us it was free for shirts and pants. After receiving the clean clothes and a $150 fee, I was decidedly less than happy. This is an okay hotel, but at a four star rating, I expected amenities, like a fitness room. Also, oddly, the lobby is one floor up. The windows didn't open in our room, and given how smoky Japan seems to be, that isn't a plus. There was a humidifier oddly enough. The brochure said Tempur-Pedic beds, but the mattresses were definitely not so - maybe […] the pillows and maybe a little padding. We complained of smelling smoke on our non-smoking floor, and the reception person immediately investigated and resolved the issue, so that was a plus. I didn't really do much in Nagoya, so can't say much for the location except it is a 10 minutes walk from Exit 12 of the Sakae station. This is also sort of town center, but mostly, I went to the train station to visit Kyoto. There are quality hotels like the Westin that doesn't have any stars, so I recommend looking at the Marriott/Starwood properties. I think there is a Courtyard by the train station, which would be a good choice for someone using Nagoya as a base. Читати далі

Location is easily accessible. 5 minutes walking distance from subway with many eateries and great shoppings nearby.. Hotel staff was helpful and spoke understandable english. Room was decent size and is clean n tidy

特段の感想なし。部屋も十分に清潔であり、繁華街にも歩いていける。何も気になる点がないということは、ホテルとして最高の評価なのかもしれないが。

名古屋訪問の目的次第ですが、駅からは思った以上に遠いです。

全体的に少し高価なビジネルホテルだと思います。 彼女と泊まりましたが、彼女との泊まりには適さないかと思います。 栄付近にあることもあり、立地は良いはずですが、最寄駅までの距離が少しあることが難点でしょうか。 一人であれば数分ですが… 全体的には泊まりやすかったとは思います。

this hotel will be small but room is quite and clean. 트위룸에 묵었구요. 옆의 도큐호텔에 비하면 작지만 조용하고 깨끗한 호텔이었습니다. 추천합니다

こじんまりとしたホテル。どうということないけど、フロントの対応がいい。チェックインもスムーズだったし、チェックアウトのときも、立て込んでいたけど、その対応もよかった。 裁縫箱を借りたり、シャツのクリーニングを頼んだりしたのだけど、こちらも、とってもスムーズで感じがよかった。 当たり前のことを当たり前にスマートにやっている、そんな印象。

従業員のかたの対応はとても親切で感じが良かったです。コストパフォーマンスがとても良いホテルだと思います。
