Perfect for an overnight stay before early depature. Completely renovated, clean, great showe, close to a lovely harbour.

For the price, it is good. it is a small hotel - the room is clean, staff is helpful, there are shuttle services available to the airport or Rome (u have to pay a reasonable price). A nice clean hotel located close to the Rome airport. It cost 20 euros by taxi from the airport terminal to the hotel and 20 Euros to return. We selected the Comfort Hotel Roma for its proximity to the airport. The hotel was efficient for a one night stay and an early morning flight. (The shower was the best ever!) Getting there from the Leonardo Express terminal was a pain. We used the Hotel Roma because it is in Fiumicino, about 8 minutes by car from the Rome Airport. Our flight was early the next AM and we didn't want to have a stressful start to our journey. We had to get fuel, return the rental car and check into the flight, so a short drive was essential. Hotel Roma is in a quiet residential district a few blocks […] from the main town of Fiumicino which is actually quite charming, with a harbor promenade and many restaurants of all types. Hotel Roma has a limited size secure parking lot behind the hotel, just ask. The entry area is on the street, and the hotels and common hallways of the hotel are clean and modern. The amenities of the hotel are fine, breakfast was typical of any of the 5 star hotels we stayed in, minus prosecco. The room (110) was VERY COMFORTABLE. The bed was great. The shower was BEST SHOWER IN ITALY. The bathroom was fine in all ways. Bath Sheets are supplied as towels, perfetto! Even the amenity kit, etc. Hotel is very clean and it appears there is even a wine bar on site, though we arrived too late to enjoy it. The restaurant we ate in near the harbor was great, and it had a pizzeria attached to it which also looked just fine. The shuttle service is limited, 7AM, 7:30 8:00 8:30 and 9:00, if you want other times it's 60 euros or something. But if you have a rental car, and have to return it at the aiport, and you want secure parking... not to mention a good shower for once in Italy... the Hotel Roma scores big on all counts!!! Next time, I would stay here two nights, and during the day, I would go to the beach in Ladispoli, maybe the Be Bop a Lula beach or something. I stayed here with my 13 yr old daughter after a week in Rome and Florence. It's a very convenient hotel if you are flying out of FCO. Anna at the front desk was very helpful and spoke English. The hotel had access to the Internet. The carpets in the hallway were filthy and need to be replaced but the rooms were very clean. Stayed here because we had to be at the airport at 4:15 AM. Very clean, great breakfast. Supermarket 1 block away, pizza place 3 blocks away. Very modern and clean. If the shuttle is running it's much less than a taxi to the airport.

Had room on side of hotel yet to be updated. Shower water leaked all over the bathroom floor in spite of shower enclosure. Front desk person recommended a restaurant for dinner, the Antico, had a pink lit sign. Outright rude waitress and servers, very hostile place that we left immediately. Asked for a drink, waitress looked like she wanted to spit […] on me and said "No". Server simply stood beside the table waiting for us to order. Guy who showed us to a table did so reluctantly after asking if we had a reservation at 9:15 pm and only five tables occupied. AWFUL! Americans, do NOT give them your money! Get up and leave! This was a great location. The facility was the best I can think of in my 27 days on Italy. It was close to the airport but far from its noise. The Shuttle was very convenient and free the next day. The taxi was 15 euros the night before since we came very late and the shuttle was off at that time. I found it great and covenient.

We called hotel a few times to pick us up at the airport. It was cold, rainy day but a driver didn't show up for half an hour. Because we had booked ahead of time with hotels.com check in was quick and easy. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was deluxe! The Itialians sure know how to furnish a bathroom. The shower was the best we encountered on the entire two week trip. It's a working port ... lots of fishing / commercial boats as well as pleasure boats. Plenty of eating establishments in the neighborhood, as well as ATMs for acquisition of euros. The proximity to the airport and free shuttle service in the morning are pluses for this location. However, the minuses outweight the pluses. We only stayed for one night, but were very impressed with the hotel. Beautiful room and bathroom - all updated and spacious. Only complaint was that there were no English-speaking channels on the TV. A group of Americans ended up gathering in the lobby to watch BBC News and ended up having a great time. Staff were very nice especially on reception when I checked in late in the evening. Room was nice and clean. TV was only in Italian. Breakfast was poor by any standards, Instant coffee and canned peaches the fruit on offer!

The hotel is not that close to the airport, but does have a complimentary shuttle to and from FCO in the morning, which is a good reason to book there. The other is that the best dinner we had on our whole three-week vacation was within walking distance of the hotel. It's very trying to get to the hotel by taxi because one must negotiate just get someone […] willing to drive to a hotel in the area because they want the more lucrative Rome destinations. Really a Darwinian experience. But the hotel is reasonable, fairly modern and a good choice when one needs an overnight stay at the airport. Book at the actual airport and save yourself the headache. We arrived at 2 p.m. and were told to wait until 5:30 for a shuttle bus to pick us up and take us to the hotel?!

The hotel was perfect for a morning departure from the airport and that was the purpose of our stay there. They offer free shuttle service which is a plus and the chocolate croissants at breakfast were outstanding. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It served our needs well.

We recently stayed at this hotel on our way back to the US. I had specifically chosen the hotel for its airport shuttle. I called when we reached the airport (I should have called sooner), but they told me the shuttle would arrive at 5:15 (he was quite emphatic). We waited at the stop and call at 5:30 and was then told that the shuttle may arrive at […] 6 p.m. and the hotel person hung up on me. (We took a taxi and arrive at 6 and the shuttle was still at the hotel). I had also asked to reserve a shuttle for the next day and was told to wait until I got to the hotel. Very clean, efficient, comfortable. Had to take an early morning taxi to airport. Desk got cab for us with no problems at all. Interesting neighbor, seaside feeling, and we had heard there were good local restaurants (tho, we choose to spend our last nite in Rome). Would recommend this hotel.

Additionally, the breakfast in the morning was better than your average hotel breakfast. The bathroom was nicer than average however, like most hotels in Italy, bring your own hairdryer. The Comfort Hotel in Fiumicino had shuttle service from the airport, friendly and informative service at the desk, wi-fi in the room and a free good buffet breakfast. No restaurant but one nearby. A good overnight at reasonable rates

This was both the cheapest and the most luxurious hotel we stayed in during our entire vacation - too bad it was just for the one night before our early flight back to the US. The hotel and rooms are modern, the beds are huge and very comfortable, and we had a cute little terrace. The value of this hotel is probably due to the distance from Rome proper […] and the fact that the surrounding neighborhood has little to be desired other than the airport. A comfortable, well appointed hotel, with a good breakfast and friendly staff. But they should provide accurate instructions for calling the airport shuttle for pickup. Also, the corporate chain should remove "exercise room" from the list of the web site for this hotel.

Hotel was lovely. Clean. FABULOUS shower. Very nice person at the desk. Continental breakfast with cheese, ham, rolls, yogurt, pastries and cappuccinos! Just enough food. Surrounding neighborhood was a bit dumpy...they are currently installing a bar I believe. I had to go to a bar up the street to get water. The hotel offered to drive me to Ostia Antica for 18 Euros. After Ostia, I took the metro into Rome. Then I took the train back to Fiumicino and took another cab back to hotel. I was not convinced I would be able to get a taxi at night from the Metro station at Ostia and it was way too far to walk back to the hotel. If your flight leaves by 11:00 am you get a free shuttle to airport. Otherwise you have to pay. NO SHUTTLE FROM AIRPORT! Wanted a reasonable hotel near the airport for my flight out. This one had very small, very well re-done room, nicely appointed. Sparkling clean room and bath. No tub, but wonderful shower. Friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast. Would stay again. Can't comment on the surrounding neighborhood--

i was very pleased with this hotel. It had locked free parking, a free shuttle to the airport and the receptionist was very very nice. Also, when one of the employees saw that we were parked in a place where we might loose a rear view mirror (ours did not close) he gave us his safer spot because his rear view mirrors did close. It looked like it had […] just been remodeled and some still needed some final touches, and since it was Italy, that may never happen. Breakfast was sparse, but not bad. Also, we needed to wake up calls, one for 4:30 am and one for 7. We did not get the 4:30 one but if you travel enough you know better not to rely on hotel wakeup calls.
