Nice appartment but the fridge didn't work when we arrived, but the guy from office worked hard and fixed the situation. The furniture was a mix of nice comfortable and old worn-out... If you don't want drunk & loud youngster laughing and screaming outside your window at night this isn't something for you (4 Cowgatehead). But if you don't mind and can […] go to sleep again, this is a nice,clean place with a nice kitchenette in a very nice neighbourhood and you don't have to walk far to get to town centre, busses, trains or restaurants. The apartment sleeps three and whilst it is cosy, its comfortable enough. Apartment was clean, and perfectly functional. However, the apartment block sides onto an alleyway and the noise is ridiculous. We managed to get very little sleep in three nights whilst we were there as we had to keep the windows open to sleep (as it was so hot). The apartment itself was nice and we were comfortable there. But, finding it was a nightmare. We stood at the pay phone on High Street for nearly two hours trying to reach a human being on the phone. We found out later that an email had been sent giving instruction on how to get there two days prior to our reservation date. "Edinburugh Hotel"
This hotel is impossible to find - it took a local [very friendly] taxi driver ~45 minutes to locate it, and then we had to park and walk to get to it. There was no-one at the location for us to check-in in the evening (they "texted" a lock box elsewhere in the city to pick up the key after 3:00pm). Very difficult, very un-friendly. Advocates Apartments kan virkelig anbefales hvis du skal en tur til Edinburgh. Flott beliggenhet midt i High Street. Flott by med alt i gangavstand. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake

Bra läge, hyfsta bra standard i lägenheten, helt OK. Schaskig ingång/Trapphus vadman kan förvänta sig i UK. Internet inte inkopplad - irriterande!
"Nice apartments in Edinburgh - Royal Mile"
We lived at the Mercat Apartment and it was great! A cozy and modern apartment with all the necessities you need! It was located of the Royal Mile, and very close to pubs, restaurants and Edinburgh Castle. I had to e-mail them to ask about where we get the keys from, and if sheets and towels were included, and they didn't answer right away, but Hotels.com […] helpt me to get the answers. Before arrival in Edinburgh we got all the directions for collection of the keys. I'm sure ypu will get at great stay with the Advocates Apartments . Читати далі
