I have stayed at other Knights Inn locations before and though they were never anything spectacular, they were clean and the personnel was pleasant. That was not the case this time around. There was blood on the walls and the bedspreads. Some form of "stain" on the chairs (I would rather not think about this to describe it). The room was incredible […] filthy. We had to beg the staff for towels just to take a shower. It looked like someone tried to claw their way out of the bathroom. The toilet was about to fall through the floor. The towel bar (conveniently located outside of the bathroom) was falling off the wall. All of the electrical outlets were covered over except one high on the wall which didn't work. The lights that did work were falling out of the ceiling. There was something green hanging from the ceiling. I am not sure what was all over the carpet but it was matted to the floor around the bed. Putting a no smoking sticker on the door does not make it a nonsmoking room. The amount of tar on the walls and in the room was indicative of years of indoor smoking. I could carve words into the tar on the walls.The couple of times we had to deal with the staff (unable to find any way around it) they were incredibly rude and appeared to want to fight with anyone who spoke to them. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of the ghetto of Columbus. It is exactly what you would expect for so cheap a hotel. I think my favorite part was that we waited over an hour and a half on a cab to take us to downtown Columbus, but it never showed up so some homeless looking guy who had just got done donating his blood plasma for twenty bucks at […] the nearby "medical center" offered to give us a ride...we accepted. He actually helped us out big time since the cab companies all suck! Читати далі

The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The TV had no remote and there were no blankets on the beds, only thin bed covers. Overall, a good stay and reasonable rates.

I was dissatisfied with the entire hotel from the service to the room. There was trash on the bed when we checked in and we were greeted rudely. The shower was dirty the water temperature was shaky at best and the molding was peeling away. On top of that the fire alarm did not work and the door to the adjacent room didn't lock. webs almost everywhere in the corners , didnt cleaning under the beds, behind the end table and the tub is not real cleaned thanks

Upon arrival, the desk clerk insisted on charging my credit card again (after I showed him I had already paid!), then told me to "straighten it out in the morning". I booked a room with 2 double beds for 3 adults. I was given a king bed room. When I went back to the desk, he was annoyed with me for questioning his room assignment. The second room had […] the 2 double beds. It looked like this room had been used and not cleaned - just the beds remade. The sheets were dryer wrinkled and stained. The hotel has a good location. The room was really dirty. Even the bathroom was like they never washed it since 6months. I didn't like to stay to this place.

The beds were comfortable and it is close to the Ohio State fairgrounds, but that is about the only plus. When going to the office because our key card quit working one hour before check-out, a woman was complaining there was a crack pipe in her room. a very low budget,cheap quality no frills place to sleep

I would not recommend this hotel to my dog!!! The bathroom was a total filth( dirty bathtub, toilet was dirty looked like you could get a disease if you used it, bed was full of stains) I would never book a room with this paticular hotel ever

I'm not sure what a one star motel is supposed to be like as I've never stayed at one, but this one certainly solidified my feeling not to. Walking into the room the first thing that I noticed was the lamp on the dresser was unplugged and the microwave was sitting on the floor. The tissue box was stuffed with what looked like wet tissues. The curtain […] rod was about off the wall. Walls had been patched but needed paint. And a half dozen trash bags were piled just outside the door on the ground. The carpet was disgusting and the floor in the bath seemed ready to fall in. We got in late thank god and it was all I could do to sleep in the bed without touching the bedspread. The sheets seemed clean and crisp but I definately checked under the covers for bed bugs (didn't see any). The showere worked although the head seemed very loose at the wall. The "breakfast" was a selection of three cereals and coffee and juice. Fresh milk was on ice in an old sherbert bucket. Something in the gut but nothing more. Definately not recommended. Читати далі

The Hotel was hard to find but VERY close to the highway. It was run-down and in a bad neighborhood. The good things were that the beds were clean and it had running water.

We were very glad that we only needed a place to sleep for a few hours before leaving. If I hadn't already paid for the room I would have looked elsewhere. The room was freezing and took a long time to get warm. The toilet sounded like someone was screaming inside of it when you flushed. The shower was cracked and sprayed water all over. Even though […] things looked generally clean it just felt ick. If you do stay watch out for the huge hole in the road on the way in, it could do some damage if you hit it. Читати далі
