Hostal Pensión Alemana - Куско

We stayed here for three nights and it was a very pleasent short stay. It is very lovely and cute hotel. The rooms were clean and everyone was very nice and accomadating. Only thing is that there was no television in the rooms but they do have one in their lounge area. Other than that, we had a great stay.

The nicest spot we found in Peru. Up top a hill with a gorgious garden and open view. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Ended up booking them again when we came back to Cusco. The only downside was the heat doesnt come on till night. Can be a bit brisk during day. But overall i would love to come back

This hotel is up in the San Blas district. About a 10 -15 minute walk down to the Plaza de Armas and main sights. The walk back up includes a short steep street but nowhere near as daunting as some guide books suggest. Pension Alemana, in the San Blas neighborhood of Cusco, was a terrific and charming place to stay. The accommodations were lovely and clean. And the service provided by the hotel staff was amazing. They were extremely helpful in assisting us with our day to day planning, including calling taxis, drawing us maps, printing out boarding passes for us, […] and generally imparting us with their knowledge of the local area. We couldn't have asked for nicer staff. Also, the breakfasts (included) were lovely and delicious. There was a public computer on the second floor, as well as outdoor garden with sitting area and a beautiful view of Cusco at night. They happily stored our bags for us when we went to Machu Picchu, and upon our return to their hotel our bags were waiting for us in our new room! Travelled with a group and although we didn't all arrive together and there were many challenges the hotel staff were amazing, the rooms and breakfast delightful and the gardens beautiful. We all loved it and would highly recommend it. We booked here for one nite before our trip to Aguas Caliente. Liked it so much, we booked two nites when we returned. All the rooms are a little different, so good size, some small. The staff are fantastic and speak good English and will go out of their way to help you.....tours, cabs, wine to your room, late nite snack.

It was a pleasant surprise to get such a welcome, and such a nice well kept hotel. The stuff was exttreemly helpful, the room was causy with great view and the breakfst superb with squeezed orange juice. The only problem was the internet and wifi which did n work properly

Pension Alemana means nothing but a beautifully built and charm hostel with German attention to details. No frills but pure quality and passion from its staff to make your stay enjoyable.

Fantastic service and breakfasts, wonderful shower pressure which is appreciated after a day at high altitude. Extremely comfortable and safe.

This place has it all for a reasonable price! The rooms a pretty standard, but clean and comfortable. The staff was super! They were very attentive and helped with all of our questions about getting around town, visiting the nearby Inca ruins, etc. The breakfast was great, with a good variety of items plus they made you fresh eggs to order! The walls […] in our room were a bit "thin" although we didn't have any trouble sleeping. Also, they kept the rooms a little on the cooler side, but this was not a big deal since they provided extra blankets and most hotels in Peru don't even have any heat (or they charge extra for it). El hostal muy acogedor y hogareño y todo el personal muy atento.Si tuviera que volver al Cusco sin duda me iría nuevamente a la Pension Alemana.

Excelente servicio, habitaciones y ubicación. El desayuno delicioso. Muy buena la ayuda/asesoría que nos dieron en la recepción.

Excelente hospitalidade e tratamento do hóspede. O incoveniente é a ladeira. Da praça de armas, lugar central de Cuzco, para o hotel são 500 m de subida, numa altitude de 3500 m, fica complicado. A boa notícia: o taxi para subir é barato, 3 soles, cerca de R$ 2 ou US$ 1 ao câmbio da época.

Estuve en Cusco durante el mes de septiembre de 2011, todavía lo llevo en la retina. Nos alojamos en Pensión Alemana tanto antes de salir para el trek al Salkantay como a la vuelta y no puedo decir otra cosa que me encantó. Con el soroche costaba un poco subir las calles empinadas, pero luego llegaba la compensación del silencio y la tranquilidad. El […] trato del personal es magnífico, amabilísimo y de una eficiencia ejemplar: llamada de taxis, concretar timings para salidas, citas con las agencias de trekking... en fin nos ayudaron mucho. A parte del trato con el personal, me gustó mucho la sala del piso de arriba, su tranquilidad, el jardín y las terrazas desde donde se puede ver cómo trepa Cusco por sus colinas. Sin olvidar los magníficos desayunos con la estufa encendida, y la fruta que siempre estaba disponible. Creo que recordaré durante mucho tiempo la música que siempre se escuchaba. gepflegtes 2* Hotel, guter Service, Zimmer ok, Anlage freundlich, Fruehstuecksleistung ok, keine durchgelegenen Matratzen und das bei einem moderaten Preis - empfehlenswert!!!
