Art Hotel Batignolles - Париж

This hotel was very nice indeed. We got a lovely reception from the girl behind the desk. Without asking she got a map out and showed us the metro stations and other landmarks. Free internet. I even asked how much the charges were to phone home as my mobile wasn't working and they didnb't charge me. There weren't any down sides to it except that the […] fire alarm went off early one morning due to one of the staff pressing a button. However, they apologised profuseley. If you arrive at the Gare du Nord you can get a 54 bus right outside the station and 10 minutes later you arrive 2 minutes away from the hotel. Much better than getting the metro and you can see the sights on the way. The breakfast is 10 euros a day per person so we had a brunch locally. It would have been nice if they included a continental breakfast but you can't have everything unless you pay more. We walked to most sights wich is the best way to see Paris but the bus is much nearer than the metro which is about 10 mins away. We would definitely stay at the Art Hotel again. Читати далі

We were pleased with the location because it wasn't too close to the main tourist areas… More of a residential neighborhood but was within walking distance of 2 metro stations...also very close to a market, a liquor store, a couple of grocery stores and many bakeries. We had a positive experience from the moment we arrived, Vanessa greeted us and continued […] to provide great customer service throughout our stay. The elevator may be slow, but at least there is an elevator. The stay was very nice. My room was street side, so there was some noise, but generally the neighborhood is quiet. The Metro is not too far a walk and there was a wide variety of eateries just further towards Place de Clichy. The room was small, but I didn't plan to stay much. The in room […] safe wasn't large enough for my computer-which is a low point, but generally I felt safe. I didn't partake in the breakfast which at 10euro's didn't feel like a great buy. I saw the croissants and wasn't impressed. Since for around 1 euro, you could find a fresh baked croissant in so many patisseries between there and the Champs Elysee... or wherever. Friendly and helpful receptionist, free access to wifi, elevator, reasonably-sized, clean room and bathroom with shower stall. Location: great if you want to avoid the crowded tourist spots and spend time in a true Paris neighborhood. Active street life during the day but reasonably quiet at night. Young population. Subway nearby. The corner bistro/restaurant […] is usually packed at night. The food, served by a young staff, is good, the service may be excellent or extremely slow. The hotel was perfect for us, easy to get to on the metro when coming on the eurostar. The room was modern, good size, with a nice shower. Recently refurbished, the room was lovely and clean. Nice furniture and a great bathroom. About a 5min walk from the station (la Forche) although also close to place de clichy. Small hotel situated 6 metrostops from city center (islands)- around 30-40 min on foot. Walking distance to butte montamatre. Quiet area, small hotel, small but clean rooms with good standard bathroom. Recommended!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean but relatively small. The decor was nice and contemporary. The staff was available 24 hours and was very helpful. They arranged a shuttle back to the airport which was half the cost of taking a taxi. Fairly close to metro station and restaurants. 距離地鐵站兩個大街口，約七分鐘路程。附近有超市，有很多麵包店和餐廳，提供很多選擇。 大堂及房內均有免費Wifi，大堂有行李寄存的房間。 接待員非常helpful，本來要14:00先可check-in，但因有客人剛退房，11:00便可讓我check-in。之後出門前向她問路，除了教我乘較近酒店的巴士外，還熱心問我之前有沒有買票。原來之前有客人留下了幾張未用的車票在前台，她將那些車票全部給了我。 唯一缺點：小酒店的通病，牆身較薄，較易聽到走廊的聲音，反為街外的聲音並不大。

Lovely small hotel in a quiet but lovely area of Paris. Lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity but not at all noisy in the evening. Close to several metro stations and walking distance to Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur. Ideal location and good hotel with modern rooms and comfortable bed - would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel a couple of hundred meters from a metro station. Small shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and quiet rooms. Comfortable beds. Fairly good breakfast for 12 euros. Nothing to complain about at all. I would love to stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights and had a pretty good experience overall. Our room was pretty big for European standards and had a closet, safe, and mini fridge with a free bottle of water on the first night. Though the heating system did not work properly and I had to wear my coat middle of the night... It was very clean and nice place with nice staff. You can easily get to Champ Elysee with direct subway!!

We stayed at the Art hotel in February 2012 and we were very happy with the hotel. The hotel is very near the Montmatre district and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station La Fourche. Spent 3 days and two nights in Paris last week and the trip was made all the better for the hotel we stayed at. Having looked at the prices of many hotels in Paris I was worried that going down to a 3 star hotel would be a bad move but we werent disappointed. we were in room 405 and it was perfect, very modern, compact, but exactly what we needed and […] was very quiet. The tv only really has french channels so if you like to watch tv in your room then you should bring your laptop/ipad but we were pretty much using the hotel as a base for our sight seeing. It was conveniently located for La Frouche station ( 3-4 mins walk) and only marginally longer to the larger metro Place de clichy. Many of the sights such as Moulin Rouge and Montmarche (Sacre Ceour) are within walking distance but you are as well jumping on the metro to the relevant stops as it is very quick and easy. If in Paris again would definitely stay here again, we even visited a little Italian restaurant on the same street as our hotel (Rue Legendre) called Pizzeria Sonia which was really busy (always a good sign), had a really nice meal and wasn't expensive. Lots of little bars, restaurants along this street so if you dont want to spend super money then Rue Legendre is a very good alternative. We chose this hotel because of its affordability and proximity to public transportation. It is easily within walking distance to Place de Clichy from which one can get a cab or metro to anywhere in the city. It's also within walking distance to Sacré Coeur, Montmartre, and the Moulin Rouge. The staff was very friendly helping us find local restaurants […] and the best modes of transportation to see the major sights in Paris. The room itself was a bit tight for a family, but then we only stayed in the room to sleep and for that it more than met our needs (even providing a crib four our baby). No complaints, booked at the last minute, was cheap, confiortable and clean. Room was quite small and the area isn't the best (but still fine) - about right for what we paid.

Very nice hotel, comfy rooms, maybe deserve a bit more shelves in the bathroom. Ideally located (15mn by bus 66 from Opera), nice neighborhood. Clean hotel, nice design, rooms are functional Maybe deserve a bit more paintings and decoration in the breakfast room, a bit "cold" in my view, but that's the only thing i can think.

This hotel was very clean and close to the subway. I'd stay again in a heart beat.

The hotel is situated in not a bad area. There are a few nice restaurants and bars nearby and the moulin rouge district is nearby. It about 20mins walk to the arc de triumph which wasn't a bad walk. Clean, friendly staff. Room is a bit small but considering we were out all day it was good enough for a city break. would recommend to other.

Enjoyed our five-night stay. The room was comfortable and clean; the shower was efficient and hot; the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a room on the fifth floor as we wanted to avoid as much street noise as possible. Room was small but this is the centre of Paris. Nearest metro is la Fourche. We had the hotel buffet breakfast at 12€ as we couldn't […] see anything of better value nearby and you could eat all you wanted from the buffet. There was a variety of reasonably priced restaurants for dinner in every direction from the hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities are not in the room but we were told we could help ourselves from the basement, where breakfast is served. (We didn't actually try this at any time other than breakfast.) You can order tea or coffee from the receptionist for 3€. There is also a cold drinks vending machine in reception. Complimentary bottled water was only given on the day of arrival. The wifi stopped working the day before we left but that seems to be a common problem in France, although McDonald's wifi is usually okay. There's a McD near the Metro and one in Place Pigalle. The staffs are extremely helpful. A very nice boutique hotel . Clean and safe. Not too far from the metro ( abt 10mins walk).

Art Hotel offers some great design touches in the bathroom and lobby. I like how the hall lights run on motion detectors and how the bedroom electricity only turns on when your hotel card is in the slot on the wall. Front desk service was genial and accommodating. It's 1:00 AM. We have been unable to sleep in this hotel several nights in a row. Cigarette smoke and noise pours into our room from the bar below. Drunks yell and breaking glass happens all through the night. Even though this could be a nice place and the staff is friendly the location ruins it.

aangenaam verblijf in Art Hotel Batignolles. Gelegen in een erg leuke buurt in opkomst, veel bistro's, cafés, maar ook gewoon en bakker en een bar tabac. Op loopafstand van twee metrostations. Kamer was wel een beetje klein voor twee personen, en enig klein onderhoud (kapotte bedlamp, losse WC bril, losse douchekop) was wel op zijn plaats. Mysigt hotell med bra frukost och mysigt kvarter, dock inte så mycket shopping i närheten. Nära till tunnelbana med bra förbindelser till övriga delar av staden. Området kändes tryggt och man var inte rädd för att någon ficktjuv eller dylikt skulle dyka upp. Mjuka sköna sängar, otroligt frächt badrum och välstädat. Dock var rummet lite mindre än vi […] tänkt, men inte något vi störde oss av. Bodde på andra väningen och hörde nästintill ingenting av trafik som var i området. De som arbetade i receptionen kunde inte så mycket engelska (en var dock väldigt duktig och gav tips på var man kunde fara i staden) men att inte kunna engelska är ju som bekant inte något som är ovanligt i frankrike så man får ta dom med en "nypa salt". Väldigt trevligt hotell som lever upp till det man kan se på bilderna. Rummet var inte så stort, men det upplevde inte vi som något problem. Frukosten var ok, men inget speciellt. Bara vanligt kaffe, ingen espresso, latte eller cappuccino. Skulle nog säga att man kan få mer för pengarna om man går och äter den någon annanstans. Trevlig och hjälpsam […] personal som gärna svarade om man hade några frågor angående restauranger eller liknande. Läget var ok, ca 3 km från eiffeltornet, kanske 3,5 från notre dame. För oss var detta inget problem att gå. För den som inte vill gå fanns tunnelbanestation inte alls långt från hotellet. Närområdet var trevligt, inga problem att gå hem på kvällarna. Fanns också en del restauranger i närheten. Vi var bl.a. och åt en lunch med ost och charkuterier på restaurangen bredvid hotellet, vilket vi verkligen kan rekommendera! Читати далі

Lækkert moderne hotel, dog tager det lidt tid at komme ind til centrum. Det er dog også det eneste negative ved hotellet, Venligt personale og flotte (små) rene værelser.´

Während vier Tagen kamen wir einmal in den Genuss einer warmen Dusche: Sonntag abends um 20h. Morgens zwischen 9h30 und 12h hatte es nie warmes Wasser. Max Temperatur war ca 15 Grad des Wassers. Wir haben es 2 mal der Rezeption gemeldet. Die bestellten einen Techniker. Fazit vom Techniker: Der Boiler sei überlastet bzw. nicht leistungsfähig genug für […] das Hotel. Abgesehen von der Rezeptionistin Vanessa war das Personal mehr mit privaten Telefonaten oder dem Computer beschäftigt als mit den Hotelgästen. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, aber nicht speziell kunstvoll. Design fehlte. Die Hotels der Grupe Design Hotels haben mehr Kunst. Wieso sich das Hotel Art hotel nennt weiss ich nicht. Hotellet er beliggende relativt tæt på metrastation og i et relativt roligt kvarter. Standarden er fuldt tilfredsstillende til prisen. Morgenmadsbuffeten kan anbefales.
