Lovely view, however, I was sent instructions to check in over a mile away. When I got there, there was a notice saying to go straight to the hotel! what a waste of time, as the check in location is not that close to the PATH. Not sure if this was a hotels.com mess up, or the hotel.

I was expecting a hotel with common amenities like soap and shampoo! And maybe even a front desk. What I found was a locked garage, a locked main door, no front desk, three towels .... if youu want a hotel - look elsewhere.

We were looking forward to short stay after Christmas but were disappointed to be let down due to FEMA workers extended stay after the hurricane. Awesome suite in upscale apartment building, very close to Path station and restaurants. Room was all windows with amazing fpviews of Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower and of Jersey Cty!

They did not provide wash clothes, hand towels or dish towels. The bed linens and pillows are worn and need replaced. The garage door was closed after midnight and there wasn't an intercom/buzzer so we had to go to the front desk and have them open the door to the parking garage.

a condo block with residents. room itself was okay however the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. There are blinds but they do not block out the light at all.Our TV was broken from when we arrived on the Friday and still broken when we checked out on the Tuesday.It has to be said that this was in the midst of Hurricane Sandy however I had contacted […] NYC-JC before the storm even arrived and they eventually sent someone round, almost 2 days later, who said he would be back to fix it but of course he never came back again.We were bound to the room all day Monday because the subway was off and so the only thing to do was watch TV, yet we couldnt.Also, whenever the power went out and we were without electric or water for 24 hours, not one person from NYC-JC bothered to show up and check in on their guests, which was very dissappointing. We were all sat around the lobby in limbo, not knowing what to do. The walls needed painted and the vent was filled with dust too. Also, the toilet clogged very easily - we had to ration the toilet paper for fear it would jam every time we flushed! It was in very close proximity to a grocery store and the PATH station that brought you right to the Financial District in Manhattan and it was reasonably priced. I have to say that Brian who worked at the reception desk of the condo buliding, 70 Greene Street, was extremely helpful and positive in the midst of the hurricane. Читати далі

This hotel offers a different type of stay with a fully fitted kitchen providing the chance to self cater - very useful during Hurricane Sandy ! The vieiws from the upper floors are spectacular.

It's not a hotel - it's a condo. My understanding is that the units are individually furnished and my room was furnished on the cheap cheap cheap. There was a full bed in the living room and 2 twin beds in each bedroom. The beds in unit 4405 were very uncomfortable, paper thin mattresses. When I arrived the TV didn't work, a one day issue related to […] changing service providers. Wifi never did work. I could not find towels, they were all stuffed inside the in unit W/D. The 'shades' covering the window were see-through, so the room never got very dark. Probably good for a group or family wanting a less expensive NYC area location. 2BR/2BA with a full kitchen and W/D which sleeps 6 - a great deal for the area. Right near mass transit to get to NYC. And overall, a pretty good area of JC. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. As a business traveler there for a short stay the lack of wifi was a major issue. The room was clean but small. We stayed in a suite. Only complaint is the pillows on the bed looked more like decorative pillows, there were no pillow cases on them so we didn't trust That they were clean

Amazing. Good view, near the light rail, ferry and underground. It is just expensive with a taxi from JFK. Will be much better to use NEWARK Airport.Many restaurants near the apartments. For running lovers near the waterfront. Nice swimming pool and gym.

Perfect location, 20 minute ride into NYC without having to pay the price of a NYC hotel. Another perk: 7 minutes from Carlos' Bakery in Hoboken. We would definetly stay there again.

The Hotel was clean, well kept. We did not eat here so I can't review the food services. Very convenient to Jersey City if you have an event near by, which we did.

It is a very nice, clean building, wonderful facilities, large windows, very close to N.Y. transportation and Science Center in Jersey. Good place for kids. But if you have 2 kids one room would be too small. And if you need extra blankets, or towels, etc. you need to call to the main office which is 5 minutes driving from the hotel, so after 9 p.m. […] nobody can help you with this. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay, on Valentine's Day. 2/14/12 through 2/15/12. We are planning to stay again soon. We really enjoyed the the room and the beautiful view on the 44th. We were hoping in the future that we can the request the 44th floor and up. Looking South or out to Manhattan. I will be honest with you, we both didn't want to leave. […] The only thing was the some neighbors will have conversations on thier cell phone outside in the hallway, while we were trying to sleep. But we brought it to thier attention and they were very nice about it and took the conversation back in thier apartment. 70 Green St. at the Jersey City Waterfront District is better than staying in Manhattan because you get to to LOOK at the the Manhattan skyline across the Hudson (rather than being smothered inside of it). It is 10 mins across the Hudson to either the NYC Financial Distrcict or to Mid-Town via PATH subway (about a block away from the hotel door). ... […] And it is about 1/2 the cost of staying in the City for like-accommodations. The room is modern - airy - well appointed (beds/bedding could use an upgrade for comfort and aesthetics). It is actually an apartment-with-a-view much more than a hotel room. The kitchen is complete with all the conveniences and the one bedroom suite can easily acommodate 4 or 5 individuals (a la "Residence Inn" layout). It is "kid-friendly". There is a great restaurant in the complex as well as a gourmet grocery store. Nice health club and pool too. There is parking in the building, but costs $25 per night. (you'd think that each apartment would have a free-space that just came with the unit -- but I guess it's too close to Manhattan for normal conventions to apply). I just waited until the 2 hr. limit on street parking timed-out (at 5:00 PM) and parked a couple of blocks away for free on the street. But you have to be "gone" from the street by 10:00 AM the next morning, or you'll get a ticket from the very "attentive" Jersey City meter-maids. Читати далі

This is primarily an apartment/condo property, so if you go in expecting the same kind of service or amenities you'd get at a hotel in the same price range, you'll be very surprised. The "concierge" is really more like a building super, more used to helping long-term residents with mail and maintenance issues than with bookings and keys. There also […] seem to be some rough spots in communication between the people on-site and those who do the hotel bookings (several blocks away). For example, I originally received a key to the wrong room. This was quickly resolved and not a problem for me, but it does raise some concerns. On the plus side, the fact that these are units designed for long-term occupancy does mean that they're fully equipped. Overall, the rooms are very nice - the appliances in the fool kitchen were better than I have at home - and you can't beat the location if you're visiting one of the local companies. As a serviced apt, NOT a hotel, our studio apt was immaculate on our arrival, but there was no daily maid service included (as we expected, so no surprise to us). If you want the advantage of a full kitchen to use, &/or your own laundry facility, then this is a good option & very close to the Jersey City waterfront & lightrail transport. However, the […] bed was not very comfortable & very "squeaky", so neither of us slept well - & we switched to sleeping separately (using the spare twin bed) for this reason. Also the clothes dryer did not work, so had to hang clothes in bathroom to dry over a couple of days. The parquetry tiled floor was very noisy with creaks++, so getting up at night always woke the other person too. The lifts in the building also malfunctioned one day, leaving only 2 of the 4 lifts working, & causing long delays with queues out to the front door waiting to ascend. Garage parking expensive. The view of downtown New York was amazing by the windows. Luxurious room, 15min by walk to the "PATH" Subway who runs 24/7. Great pool, great terrace. But be aware, this is not a hotel, this is an apartments complex, who is, in my case, much better.

I travel to NYC often and usually stay in Jersey City. I will never stay here again. You are basically renting an un-sold condo. Maybe that would've been ok had I known that going into it. Very cold feeling, information was hard to find.

The hotel was a little weird since the main lobby is not actually the hotel lobby, it is an apartment building that happens to have hotel rooms in it as well. However, they didn't tell me this until I got to the room and there was a letter inside. I looked very silly in the apartment lobby asking questions like checking my bag until I could actually […] check into the room, or simply telling her my name, but not the hotel companies name. Also they encourage you to wait outside for a hired car instead of the lobby, and your not really supposed to use their lobby, odd things of that nature. So, if your looking for something with hotel services, like room service, bell hops, etc..., this is probably not what your looking for. With that said, the room I had was beautiful, I had a wonderful view, very clean, nicely furnished, and I enjoyed my stay. The neighborhood is a little dull but it's nice and safe and only three blocks from the Path Train that takes you into Manhattan. This is not a hotel. It is an apartment complex, and rooms are rented out. There is no front desk or regularly expected hotel type support or service. This is a decent stay if you are vacationing. If you are a business traveler this is not the place. To begin with the room did not have a desk/table or work area. Second, the beds are not comfortable at all. Third, no blackout drapes/curtains. Fourth, WiFi access was intermittent at best. Fiquei oito noites maravilhosas nesse hotel, o quarto da minha filha tinha as paredes de vidro com vista bem próxima da estatua da liberdade, cozinha, sala, quarto tudo impecável, fomos bem recebidas, e tudo que precisamos fomos atendidas, e apesar de não falar inglês a viagem foi maravilhosa começando pelo hotel, eu recomendo.

We verbleven in ee studio op de 44e verdieping van het appartementen complex aan 70 greene street. Studio was prima met veel faciliteiten zoals een compleet ingerichte keuken met oven,magnetron en vaatwasser. Wasmachine en droger etc. In de kamer waren 2 aparte bedden, een zithoek met tv,dvd en docking station, en een eethoek. Het uitzicht op Jersey […] City en Newark was schitterend. De duurdere kamers hebben uitzicht op Manhattan. Het complex zelf heeft diverse faciliteiten waar je gebruik van kunt maken zoals een gym, bioscoop, dakterras met buiten zwembad(deze sluit begin september) en bbq's. Ook is er een supermarkt in het gebouw. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het niet echt een hotel is. In het complex wonen mensen en NYC-JC heeft een aantal etages hierin. Dus de concierge van het complex moet je niet zien als een receptionist die alles voor je regelt. Alles moet je via NYC-JC zelf regelen die een paar straten verder een kantoor hebben. Het metro station "exchange place" is 5 minuten lopen. Vanaf hier ben je met 1 stop op station WTC en 6 haltes van 33th street in Manhattan. Читати далі

We spent 7 days here. First night we got another smaller apartment than that we had book. The had made a over-booking! (other guest had same problem). During the first night the battery in the smoke-alarm run out and it started to sound every minut.
