First Hotel - Париж

The hotel is lovely and the staff extra helpful. We enjoyed our stay and found the room to be cozy and clean. The location is right next to the metro stop, although we found ourselves walking the whole time. Very happy with our stay!

First Hotel made my first trip to Paris easy, comfortable and memorable.Their staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs, all spoke English excellently and were willing to help with all requests. The location can't be beat.....directly across from the Metro, a 10 minute walk to La Tour Eiffel, neighborhood cafe's and a boulangerie with AMAZING […] tarts and baguettes right downstairs. The staff was happy to put us in a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower for a minimal upgrade fee and was happy to let me look at adjacent rooms when I was shocked at how small my room was. Believe the reviews, the rooms are small even by Manhattan standards, but when in Paris your room is only for sleeping and showering so the fact that the bathroom was well designed and modern, everything was immaculate and the bed was comfortable outweighed the size. And that view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower, c'est magnifique! The daily breakfast served in the lounge is worth the fee if only for the fresh squeezed OJ from the Zummo machine alone! I must have one of those! The spread is generous, fresh and delicious and the staff so welcoming and friendly each morning. The staff also eagerly accommodated our early check-in and helped us through a bizarre converter issue by letting us borrow their direct US to Euro plug each night until morning. Overall a nice hotel. Elevator is small and you may have to wait a few minutes to make it down to the lobby, since you cant fit more than 3 people. Room was smaller than expected, but nice decor. Hotel is next to the subway, but not too loud and location is walking distance from the eiffel tower!

We stayed here for 11 nights and really enjoyed it. Most of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our first few nights we had a view of the Eiffel Tower and then we were moved to another room because that one had been reserved. Very nice clean an well decorated hotel. In a great location. It's opposite the metro so if ur expecting a nice view to wake up to then this isn't for you unless u have a suite because the view of the metro across the road isn't pretty. A/C did not work and had to sleep with the window open. Due to the street noise, made a good nights sleep very difficult. Internet acces was intermitten all the time. we had to log back in every 3 to 4 minutes- very frustrating. Internet access at the corner restaurant was great. Everyone was friendly. CAUTION- we were mislead by the hotel staff on […] a cab ride back to the airport. They instisted we must sign up for the ride to the airoprt when we registered. The hotel takes 16 Euro just for setting the ride up. Then the cab was late, hade four other stops around paris to make and we just barely made our plane even though we were ready 4.5 hours before departure. I reccomend just taking the train. its is much more predictable. And the subway Cambrone on line 6 is right across the street from the hotel. Читати далі

Although the hotel room was quite small, but perfect for couples you just need a nights rest from a whole day of walking. The interiors were sleek (in black), the bed was large and comfy. The bathroom fixtures were all shiny and working. My stay in paris would not have been perfect if not for this hotel. Awesome!

I had booked First Hotel, paris for a romantic getaway with my wife through hotels.com. Wanted to confrim on airport pickup but did not get any reply till i reminded them 3 times. The amount confirmed to me was 10 euros more than the actual fare of a private cab. Realized the same when i asked the same cab guy to drop me to airport at the end of my […] trip.Be VERY careful about the room type you have booked and the room allotted to you. I think its the hotels way of making money. We had booked a Deluxe Superior room with specifications of an Eifflel Tower View. As we checked in, the lady at the check-in desk mentioned that it was a "special" room as per request. We were shocked to see that the room we has been allotted was on the 1st floor with a view a backside view of the heater and boilers pipes used by the hotel. When i went back to the lady, the said that there was a special request for a room for physically challenged, where as we had not mentioned any such thing ever during the booking. The hotel people kept promising for a better room for two days (morning, evening next morning were their promises) and they kept mentioning that there were no rooms available.. Finally we realized that they wanted 20 euros extra for an eifflel tower view room. As soon as we agreed to the same, 4 rooms were made available to choose from. finally i was shifted to 6th floor (top floor) room with a better view. Great little hotel just across from the #6 metro. Staff was nice. Looks like they cater to Americans. Room size is good for Paris but most Americans will think it is tiny. I would stay there again without exception.

Was absolutely satisfied by my stay at First Hotel Paris. It is a very stylishly decorated, smaller hotel with a wonderful staff. We were about a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and about 10 seconds from a metro station. Couldn't have been more pleased with me stay.

The greatest thing about this hotel was the location - only 10 mins from the Eiffel Tower, which you can see clearly from the higher level floors! Add to this the fact that it is over the road from a Metro station (Cambronne), so getting around was so easy. Well....when you walk into a vestibule that is black and white and where it was located at first gave me caution. Then we went up to our room and it did not face the Eiffel Tower but a courtyard of cement buildings that was my first disappointment.It was 3/4 painted black, no dresser, no drawers, a black cupboard that was set against black and you couldn't […] see anything even with the lights on the window open.The towels had been used so long they were like rough rags. The bathroom was very narrower only as wide at a toilet and continued with sink and shower in very small quarters. The staff spoke English and was helpful and nice but that is the only real good thing about this hotel. Oh it was right outside #6 Metro line overground tracks. It felt like camping. Oh and the key had to stay in an electric envelope on the wall to keep the electricity going so we did but the air conditioning still turns off during the day...so when you come back and you are hot from walking all day it takes a good while to cool down! Within walking distance to the Eiffel tower and then if you catch the Batobus you can go on the canal getting on and off at all Paris's most popular sights. It was pefecy for us as we didn't have a long stay and wanted to see lots of stuff.

Got there around 12:00, at most hotels you are not really allowed to check in that early, but they allowed us to check in early. Lovely boutique hotel about 15 mins from the Eiffel Tower. Lots of bars and restaurants around it. We couldn't have been happier. Room was small as expected but that is the only minor criticism I can give. Loved it

Front desk very helpful and we liked it so much that we stayed an extra 2 days even though we had to pay a no show fee to another hotel!! Free wifi, but did not pay for the breakfast. There is a bakery next door and plenty of cafes to get coffee..there is even a Starbucks and McDonalds if you want take away coffee.(about 3 blocks).

Can not believe this hotel is only 3*, should be more. Great location, modern clean. Staff were great, spoke excellent English. Only thing I would have expected was a kettle/tea/coffee in the room, but can overlook this. Would stay Here again without doubt, and would recommend to anyone. 10/10

When we arrived at the hotel at 1 am, we were told that they were very sorry, but there was no room available, but they had booked us at another hotel. The other, lesser quality hotel, was several blocks away, in a noisy neighborhood. We were not offered a taxi, or any other assistance other than a google map with the new hotel circled. Great hotel, very "american". Everything you expect to get in a hotel. Great location, across the street from metro stop on convenient line. Lots of decent restaurants 1 minute away. Amazing bakery next door we got breakfast and lunch from almost every day!

The only let down was that I have ordered champagne to be in the room upon arrival (as a surprise for my fiancee) but the they've asked about it in front of her upon check in and housekeeping left the empty ice bucket with the empty bottle in the room for the whole stay. We were offered a shuttle service to the Airport for 17euro per person which has been convenient - we were picked up on time but the journey took approx 1 1/4 hours as we had to pick up another people and the driver wasn't very friendly. the staff would have to be the worst I have ever come across, they were rude, disrespectful even to their own staff and just didn't care if we had the most basic request. We told the front desk specifically that we don’t want anyone coming into our room when the do not disturb sign is shown, this request was made after our first night when we had left […] the sign shown and they decided to come in anyway. We also told the front desk that some money had gone missing (about 4 euros in change) so they call in the poor girl and accuse her right in front of us and what do you think she was going to do admit it? No she says she didn’t take it, then the front desk lady is talking to us like we made the whole thing up!!! Are you kidding me!!! 4 euros is no big deal but what if we had left 50 or 100 euros. So after the second night we return back to the room after a day of walking around and the staff are in the room again!! They tell us “oh sorry but the do not disturb signs only applies when you are not in the room” again are you kidding me? I have been to hotels all over the world and never ever have had this kind of terrible service. I hope that anyone thinking of staying here in the future thinks twice about it. Читати далі

If you like modern decor, this is the place for you! People at desk were friendly. We were switched to a room with two singles, as that is what we had reserved, The first was one bed, much smaller, but had a cool view of Eiffel Tower, More room was the way to go in this case. Metro right across the street.

Across from the Cambrone Metro made it easy to travel to all the different tourist spots at different locations. The room was simple and clean plus there were plenty of cafe and eating spots at your disposal. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Great location close to line 6 of the metro. The metro and train infrastructure is amazing making it very easy to travel around the city. The hotel was spotless with a great shower. Local cafes and bakeries nearby were excellent for breakfast. A great hotel choice for couples on a a short break. Highly recommended!
