Just west of the old town, the area around the main station is crammed with hotels and pedestrian areas filled with shops. Further north is the city's museum district, which is home to the Alte and Neue Pinakothek, the Pinakothek der Moderne, the restored Glypothek, the Museum of Antiquities, and the Lenbachhaus, which exhibits the work of Bavarian painter Franz von Lenbach.

"Lovely hotel in a quiet part of town"
This hotel sits adjacent to a large park area that is used primarily for Octoberfest, but at other times of the year is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast room is lovely and sunny, and they offer a wonderful breakfast buffet. The rooms have high ceilings and sizable bathtubs in the bathroom. The hotelier could not have been more accommodating!

"Great Location!"
The hotel was easy to find and sits directly adjacent to the the grounds of the world famous Octoberfest. Our room was a lower level triple that was clean and warm. The appointments were dated and had seen a guest or two but more than acceptable. Parking was on the street, 6 Euro for 24 hrs, was a bargain. "good holel for oktoberfest"
seibel never disappoints. they have a couple of hotels and this hotel is just opposite he oktoberfest wiese (meadow) and so very convenient for this event. tube station into town is only five mins away. good breakfast. very nice ambiente. the man at reception is very efficient but a little bit too prussian for munich. for some real munich flair at reception, […] i would recommend the seibel park hotel in pasing, which is in a lovely green area and set in a park with an italian restaurant below. very nice reception and breakfast room. all rooms have balconies. the hotel staff are very helpful and welcoming. the hotel is only 5 to 10 mins walk from the main train station. it is very clean and the surrounding area is quite even though there is a pub about 50yards away.

"Hotel Seibel"
So disappointing, we didn't stay there. I would like my money refunded!!! Three flights of stairs to get to our room. No desk. No toiletries. No parking accept a public Parking garage five blocks away. Worst if all, no air conditioning or heater. If you open the windows, no screens. Anyone can climb into the room. Highly unsafe! "Hotel Seibel Munich - good for a short stay"
This hotel was fairly convenient - close to the UBahn but not totally central to the city. I stayed in a single, and the room was large but the bed wasn't very comfortable. It was clean and bright, though. The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English for anyone who needed it. They were very willing to direct hotel guests to local tourist locations, […] but they weren't very knowledgeable about sights outside of the city (Neuschwanstein, for example). The dining room where they serve continental breakfast is beautiful, and the food offerings are pretty standard. The drinks available in the room and at reception are less expensive than in most hotel minibars. Free wi-fi was great. I would stay in this hotel again for what I paid for it, which was not much since it isn't Oktoberfest (this hotel is located next to the Oktoberfest fairgrounds, so rates increase dramatically at that time). Not as close to Downtown as I thought but doable walk. Loved the brewery down the street. Good value for what I paid. Would go back there again!
"Nice hotel but far from center"
It was a 25 minute walk to the center which made me want to switch hotels. If you are there for Oktoberfest then it is a prime location.

Впечатление неплохое. Отель в старом фонде, недалеко от центра, с видом на поле и горы за пределами Мюнхена. Стоянки нет, но мне удалось сравнительно легко найти место на шоссе прямо перед окнами. Рядом огромная пивная. Вообще вся эта местность сильно ориентирована под пивной праздник. Номер обставлен элегантно, но довольно аскетично. Завтрак понравился. Ett riktigt super hotel med tanke på priset, vi gav 410 kr/ natt inkl frukost. Skall man åka dit över oktoberfestivalen måste detta hotel ha det perfekta läget. Nära tunnelbana. Rena, fina rum, otroligt prisvärt.
Das Hotel Seibel liegt ideal für Oktoberfestbesucher! Ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt liegt eine U-Bahn-Station, die direkt zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten fährt. Das Zimmer war schon eher klein und das Bett war nicht wirklich bequem. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aber sehr gut!

pesuhuoneessa ei ollut yhtään pyyhekoukkua tai tankoja johon laittaa pyyhe, pyyhkeet olivat meillä henkarissa vaatekomerossa huoneen puolella kun ei muuhun saanut roikkumaan. tv-n kapula ei toiminut. Huone ja hotelli olivat viehättäviä, vanhoja.

Ich musste am Anreisetag während der Wiesn-Zeit aus privaten Gründen wieder nach Hause fliegen und habe das Hotel gefragt, ob sie mein Zimmer wieder freigeben können. Ich wurde am Montag auf Mittwoch vertröstet, weil dann der Chef da sei. "Seibel Munchen"
Billigt, bra frukost. Men ett stort minus, det är inte tyst! Ligger intill en vältraffikerad gata så mycket trafikljud. Gammal byggnad så trots renoverade rum så finns ingen ljudisolering, när folk rör sig i korridor så låter det som de är inne i rummet. När folk rörde sig i rummet intill så skakade hela golvet i mitt rum.

Hotel da consigliare a tutti gli amici e amanti della praticità e comodità unita ai servizi ottimi e pronti. Posizione ottima e servitissima dai mezzi pubblici, con una ottima insonorizzazione (una sera hanno fatto i fuochi d'artificio nel piazzale antistante (Oktoberfest) e si sono sentiti come fossero a chilometri), pulizia perfetta, bagno a grandezza […] normale e pulitissimo, cortesia e dialettica in lingue diverse dei conciergìe disponibili sempre.
