"This is a hidden gem. The property upkeep is excellent, the room decor is really beautiful and the outside sitting areas are stunning. The location is amazing!, right in the middle of all the action and very close to the beach. I will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to anyone staying in the Gros Islet area. "
"Bay Gardens Hotel is quite a dated hotel however some refurbishments were taking place to the dining area just prior to me leaving. I found the meals (lunch and dinner) good with breakfast being my least favourite as could be quite hit and miss on some days.
My room was a standard king size room with a balcony which was an adequate sized room and modern which was cleaned thoroughly each day. I used the gym most days which is small however has all the necessary equipment for a decent work out.
There is a shuttle bus which takes you to the beach and sister hotels which is a great plus about this hotel stay.
Another plus is the hotel provides water filling stations which provide filtered water.
The majority of the staff were helpful and pleasant and the hotel is located in an ideal spot near to shops and a mall and local bars which I felt safe going to as a lone female traveller.
St Lucia hotels can be extremely expensive but I found this to be good value for money and would definitely stay there again in the future."

4/10 Poor
"The hotel was okay overall, but it felt a bit run down and could use some updates. The staff interactions were somewhat impersonal, and we didn’t feel particularly welcomed during our stay. Unfortunately, the food quality was quite disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The buffet area also had an unpleasant odor that made dining there difficult. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends."
"Wonderful resort! It has everything you need. The food at the resort restaurant was really good. It’s close to lots of restaurants & bars. 5 min walk to Reduit Beach. It was perfect for what we wanted. "

10/10 Excellent
"Great resort! We had the Diamond Club with butler service. Ocean view room and exceptional customer service. The food and drinks were good and there were several activities on site to participate in!"
"In a lovely setting! All the cottages are separate, some high and low, with 2 different pools. Cottages are rustic - so be prepared for that as my shower was outside. The room was clean and they provide a central water cooler. The breakfast was great, however i would recommend going somewhere else for dinner like Ladera or Rabot The staff were nice, but it always seemed like you were bothering them was asking them questions. Easy to get around if you have a car, but otherwise it's a little tricky. Close to the superman waterfalls and the sulphur springs, but still need a car to travel to them. Chocolate tour was underwhelming and as the staff seem so demotivated, the tour was very flat. However, they did make an effort on my birthday to decorate my bed, which was a lovely touch."
"We had a wonderful time staying at the Soco House, celebrating my sister-in-law's 50th with her siblings and their spouses. Everyone we met who worked there was wonderful! We would like to give a special shout-out to: Elloise, George, Yenel, Charles, Alex and Vlad, who all made our stay even more wonderful by their kindness and hospitality."
