Staff were fantastic and made the trip. Unfortunately the typhoon hit as we got in, they did offer to cancel the stay on the day but we were nearly there, and they made every effort to make the trip enjoyable despite limitations from the weather. Only qualms are that the food in the restaurant could be better for vegetarians but the kitchen staff accomodated changes as requested.

The Regent was in a great area, very close to the Zongahsan metro for the Red and Green lines which can take you to most of the major sites in Taipei. There are 2 7/11's next to the hotel and a laundry a 5 minute walk away (we did 2 full loads washed and tumble dried for the price of 1 pair of underwear at the hotel - just saying!)
There are loads of restaurants, fast food places, shops and bars. The hotel itself is very nice for Taipei, but not as good as a 5 Star you'd get in another...

Room was clean and comfy. Pool excellent. Spa good. The only negative thing is the language problem. The staff speaks English but not so well and there were some communication problems...

Hotel room has great view of Taipei 101. Staff are really nice and services are brilliant.
Our trip was disrupted by the Heathrow closure, so was delayed for 1 day. The hotel team was brilliant and accommodating, allowing us to cancel one night despite very short notice.
The location is walkable, but a little far from MRT station (~10 minutes walk).

Located in a lovely area. Very convenient. Mostly importantly, the staff are very friendly, polite and respectful , welcoming. 5 stars overall. Well deserved. Will stay here again when I’m back to the city.

Excellent hotel with fantastic amenities. Our second time here and it won’t be our last. My only gripe is that you have to pay for meals and amenities as you go, rather than them being charged to your room to settle on check-out. This is cumbersome but seems usual to most guests.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. There are several amenities including a gym, spa, pool, bakery and restaurants. There is a mall across the street and a train station nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and had a lovely view. I would stay again if I'm back in Taipei.
