What a place to relax with the family.

One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. It turned out fantastically though. The Motel is brand new, spacious, clean, warm, and the TV had all the usual smart apps so we could watch practically whatever we wanted. If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

What a find! Easily one of the best B&B's we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The attention to detail was superb and cleanliness 10/10. Very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. If I had to find any faults the TV reception was rather intermittent (not ideal when trying to catch up on the Olympics).

Remember to take your own towels, soap and washing up liquid. Traffic noise a bit annoying but other than that all was great.

Had a lovely stay. Second time stoping in the George hotel. All the staff are lovely. Brilliant hotel.

Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

A good place to stay near the town and good main road

We have just returned from the most wonderful four-day stay at The Harper Hotel and honestly cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Keith greeted us and showed us to our room, Room 211, which was absolutely lovely. It is right at the end of the corridor, so it was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for us. A pleasant, comfortable hotel. The food was nice and we all (family of 4) slept well. Will definitely stay again.

Well run family hotel lady in reception was very helpful. Good stocked bar, room was good with nice size shower , lovely soft towels plenty of parking, Nice gardens and the selection for breakfast was very good .

This hotel is ideally situated - close to the beach. Our room was very large with a kingsize bed. It also had a set of binoculars! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Food and service were great. We parked outside the hotel, but there is lots of parking nearby.

Gluten free beer on draught and great gf food options.

Great room, small but very quirky and lots of extra touches such as bottled water, fresh milk and KitKats! Just had to remember to duck through door frames. Good sized bathroom and shower plus walk-in wardrobe provided plenty of storage. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Didn’t sample rest of pub food as only stayed one night but the list of desserts was impressive. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.
