Our room was very well decorated and very smart . The colour theme of black and white was modern and spotlessly clean. We liked the modern bathroom and spacious shower, also very clean and looking very new. The bed was comfortable and the view across the valley was pleasant.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had a good choice and was well cooked. We would have preferred to have been served our coffees / teas rather than use the help yourself facilities which were a little awkward.

Nice and friendly staff. Lovely lodge, which makes it feel more private, in a lovely place.
Good breakfast too. Loads of good walks straight from the hotel.

Dave was the most welcoming owner I have ever ha the pleasure of meeting. Everything at this small but ideal hotel was magnificent. The hotel was clean and comforting. The food was to die for and the service great. A great experience from start to finish.
Gabby the lady of the house stayed in the background but her baking and cooking was an experience in itself.

This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay.

Lovely stay in the isolated guest house, on the edge of snowdonia national park in travel distance of betws y coed, far enough to experience true rural Wales. Run perfectly by the two owners whom made us very welcome. Looking forward to return!

Hotel staff are so helpful and accommodating. We had a really great two night stay with our little dog. Nothing was too much trouble, our room was pretty and super clean and the food was excellent. We ate from the full breakfast buffet in the bar area so we could have our dog with us on both mornings and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the dining room on the first night. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

A lovely traditional village inn. A great menu, wide selection of beers and wine with polite, pleasant and cheerful staff. I’d definitely recommend it.

Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, very enjoyable reasonably priced evening meal. Excellent breakfast.
The room on the top floor accessed by a steep staicase, was spacious and very clean, slight downside the mattress was a little tired.
The location of the hotel was ideal very close to town centre.
Tip. The restaurant is very popular so book a table in advance.
Watch out for parking fines, paying by phone does not always work, one guest paid by phone and still got £100 worth of parking...

A very rare review – but our stay at Y Capel was absolutely faultless. Although a remote annexe of The Erskine Arms (on the same small street, opposite Erskine Arms) it is absolutely beautiful. A converted chapel with its own parking, one vehicle per room. It is ideally situated, right in the centre of Conwy. Walking distance from all the essential venues in Conwy. The building, the rooms and communal areas are all spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Our room (Number 10), was very, very...

Mixed emotions about my stay at the Talardy Hotel. Unfortunately I was isolating because I was having cancer treatment and my wife and kids all had coughs and colds. So I booked the Talardy as it was very reasonably priced and around the corner from the hospital I was getting chemotherapy and radiotherapy. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, a week later, I cannot think of one negative about this place. My room was comfortable, clean and practical. All I needed. When I went to their...

Nice quiet location, rooms nice not super luxury but high end. Very nice spa pool, lovely and warm and allow kids at certain hours only. The restaurant was good food but not very good service.
