Beautiful village setting, friendly and helpful.

Excellent from the start. Breakfast was a full English and i mean FULL.my hubby really enjoyed it. There was a wide choice of alternatives otherwise The evening meals made it hard to choose, never seen a sirloin steak large and cooked to perfection, it was delicious, All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Top marks to the chef and Sue who made it a nice place to be. Hope to return for a longer stay soon.

If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

A good place to stay near the town and good main road

Great room, small but very quirky and lots of extra touches such as bottled water, fresh milk and KitKats! Just had to remember to duck through door frames. Good sized bathroom and shower plus walk-in wardrobe provided plenty of storage. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Didn’t sample rest of pub food as only stayed one night but the list of desserts was impressive. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

I stay in a lot of hotels due to business and i picked this one due to location and reviews what a result Fantastic greeting by 2 kadies when i arrived Great room Superb high quality food in the restaurant obviously cooked by a good chef Great service from the waitress and the gentleman behind the bar I would recomend this hotel for business or pleasure to anyone it is worth travelling that extra mile or two to get there.

Very friendly staff, great room and fantastic cooked breakfast. Overall, a lovely stay and good value for money. Would certainly recommend!

We had an executive room with balcony and lovely views over the countryside. Food was good and the staff friendly. we only tried the restaurant and that was good. Breakfast on the terrace in the very hot weather was a pleasant experience

It’s a great hotel with parking in the centre of a small village. The owner was really nice and we had a great time.

Stayed a few times, always great. We had the Monroe room this time and it was excellent Staff friendly, breakfast was lovely
