Lovely hotel in a beautiful small town. Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and helpful - sorting us out with a booking at the nearby beach club and providing timetables so we could take a boat trip to Portofino. The pool area was a perfect size and well looked after, as were we! Our family room was spacious and well laid out, and we had the use of a private terrace. So many little touches made this hotel extra special for our family holiday. We highly recommend it!

This hotel was very special as it is not very often you get to stay in a castle on it's own 'island'! Our room was very spacious with a good bathroom. The hotel itself is thoroughly modern but with all the old character in place. The wifi did not work very well or very quickly, but this could be down to the stone walls. We found the hotel right in the middle of the town. surrounded by bars and restaurants and a lovely walk through shaded, busy, ally's in the old town. Close to the beach and the ferry to Portofino. Portofino is too busy and full of tourists. The rooftop bar was a revelation. Watch the moon rise over the bay sipping a cocktail. Spot on. No swimming pool, if you are that inclined. Parking is across the street. Had a lovely stay and will return.

Very much enjoyed our week's stay at The Continental. We had a nice sea view room on the second floor with a small balcony. The outlook from this hotel across its beautiful gardens across the bay at Santa Marg. is outstanding whether from the room or having a drink on the terrace. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.
