great place to stay before your climb to the peak! the route is right outside of the hostel. great overall stay and the breakfast in the morning was good, the only thing i would say is can get a little cold in the winter months and the noise by passing cars can be unsettling, apart from that the place was a great stay, thanks to all the staff.

Had a lovely stay. Room was very basic but it was absolutely perfect value for the price paid. Everything was spot on for relaxing after a days hiking. I would definately visit again.

Our room was very well decorated and very smart . The colour theme of black and white was modern and spotlessly clean. We liked the modern bathroom and spacious shower, also very clean and looking very new. The bed was comfortable and the view across the valley was pleasant.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had a good choice and was well cooked. We would have preferred to have been served our coffees / teas rather than use the help yourself facilities which were a little awkward.

The hotel is a sizeable place, nicely decorated and the grounds are well maintained.
Website pictures of the rooms are generous... but no complaints.
Everywhere clean and tidy, room was comfortable (albeit a wee bit smaller than expected), parking was safe & easy and breakfast delicious.
Location is excellent. Beautiful part of the world.
The £97 for a nights stay with breakfast inc was good value, and we would definitely stay again.

Dave was the most welcoming owner I have ever ha the pleasure of meeting. Everything at this small but ideal hotel was magnificent. The hotel was clean and comforting. The food was to die for and the service great. A great experience from start to finish.
Gabby the lady of the house stayed in the background but her baking and cooking was an experience in itself.

Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-informed. If prices drop or rooms become available, you're more likely to be notified first, making it easier to secure your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay at a hotel in Tanygrisiau. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more attractive rate.
Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and easy access to the places you wish to visit. You could also explore independent hotels a bit further out, as they usually tend to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
