Everything was great and even better than i expected

We had a great stay and were well looked after by the staff. The room was excellent with a comfortable bed and what can only be described as excellent heating from two wall mounted heaters. Tea/coffee etc and good television. Hot water all the time and I mean HOT. Be careful when you use the hot tap. In some travel lodges you have to wait ages for hot water but not at Killington Lakes. Only downside was a bit of mould in the bathroom. The car park is used by the service station cars so is not...

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far , they couldn’t co enough for us and the rooms and place are absoluxley (see what I did there) amazing . We got engaged and they helped . Will deffo be returning

I used to stay at this Hotel on a regular (often fortnightly) basis a few years ago as it offered well above average accommodation. I liked its location, which gave a balanced mix of easy access with rural unspoilt views, which is a rare treat for anybody who spends weeks driving up and down the Motorway networks. But what I especially liked was the staff, as they are the entire backbone of this hotel and a credit to its Management, I can't say that i've ever had one negative experience, either...

Stopped on 14th may 2016. The girl who greeted us and served breakfast the next morning was excellent. The food we had at night was great and the breakfast was spot on. Lovely location. The bar bit is about as perfect looking as youd get a pub. The bathroom in our room was 'retro' but we quite liked talking about it and what colour we had in the 90s lol. The bedrooms are lovely too. Defo come back

Great location just off the M6 but with lovely walks along the canal into open countryside. Big comfy room, spotlessly clean and quiet even though next to the road and we kept the window open. Fresh milk and chilled water in the mini fridge a really nice touch. The staff were friendly and chatty we enjoyed our fish and chips dinner, breakfast was freshly cooked. Will happily stay again.

Great stay would stay again if i was in Windermere

Hard to access carpark on site. Very cramped entrance on a major slope and limited parking space. We were met on arrival after ringing doorbell by woman who wasn't very friendly. She asked us how we managed to get into reception as we apparently shouldn't have been able as door should have been locked or closed. (Dont see how that was our fault) Then she states if we turn up for breakfast there might not be a table available and would let us know when we could get one!? (Turned out not a...

Really beautiful stylish room with lots of lovely touches. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

We had a lovely stay recently for a wedding, hosts were more than welcoming, comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. Thank you for being great hosts! We will be booking again for our next trip to the lakes.

Beautiful hotel close to the train station. The hotel grounds are exceptional and customer service is outstanding. Cannot wait to return next year.

Stayed over Easter weekend. Arrived Friday night and was greeted by one of the owners, Bonnie. We have a double room, well sized with lots of storage. Bed was soft and good for a few nights with been uncomfortable. Ensuite was good as well and the showers hot. All rooms look to come with a TV (limited to ITV and C4 channels only) and welcome book with the WiFi information (good for streaming) Breakfast has to be preordered by 7pm he day before, good range of hot food on selection...

Great place to stop off at between Southern England and when visiting Scotland.
