We found the hotel right in the middle of the town. surrounded by bars and restaurants and a lovely walk through shaded, busy, ally's in the old town. Close to the beach and the ferry to Portofino. Portofino is too busy and full of tourists. The rooftop bar was a revelation. Watch the moon rise over the bay sipping a cocktail. Spot on. No swimming pool, if you are that inclined. Parking is across the street. Had a lovely stay and will return.

Perfectly placed at the end of the seafront, the Astoria is small and very welcoming. Rapallo town centre is a short walk away as is the railway station. On arrival we were welcomed by Alessandro and Sara who were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic week. The room, though not huge, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was varied and ample for us. Highly recommended.

This was our first holiday with a 4 month old baby and the staff at the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. A really great hotel in the best location with great sea views (even from the room that is advertised as partial sea view). I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to the Italian riviera as the perfect base to explore this amazing part of Italy.

A charming characterful villa set in a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from the sea.
Lovely breakfast & the garden setting with tables & chairs was delightful.
But the best thing about the hotel was the barman ‘Bruno’ a charming & helpful man who made every evening we stayed there so enjoyable...& boy can he pour a gin!!! Thank you Bruno for the laughter you brought us every night!

The hotel service, from checking in, to room cleanliness and great breakfast helped to make our stay relaxing and wanting to stay longer than our 3 days. You do not need a car, it is in easy walking distance to the marina and restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and supportive in directing us to many good places to eat and visit. The private terraces and beach front was an added bonus.

The hotel was in a good location for the centre of town and the sea front - excellent value for money - friendly staff - comfortable refurbished room with a great shower.
We will definitely stay here again when we’re visiting our relatives nearby…thank you !!
Our only grumble was being totally ripped off by a taxi which the receptionist booked for us - we were charged €25 for a 5m journey to the station - we would normally have walked but it was raining heavily.
The hotel was in a good location for the centre of town and the sea front - excellent value for money - friendly staff - comfortable refurbished room with a great shower.
