"The room was very warm and small but adequate. Great shower. The property manger was very nice. The food in the restaurant had a diverse and unusual choices and tasted excellent. Overall the building needs some tlc as most walls and doors looked scruffy and marked. The recent restaurant additional looks very nice and smart."

"The staff were amazing very helpful friendly and welcoming i had a evening meal and Sunday Roast which were both excellent over all really enjoyed my stay the only issue was the lift which was a old fashioned style with sliding metal guillotine and if the last person to use the lift did not close it the lift would not work!! But apart from that is was very good"

"Staff were lovely. Breakfast was basic but edible. Pool looked great, but unfortunately it rained all week. We went to the spa which was nice but fairly basic- the hot tub was outside and would have benefited from handles to help getting in and out and the sun chairs were very low down so I couldn’t use them The rooms in the main building were fine, decorated nicely. We spent 2 extra nights in the annexe which was poorly maintained on the outside- peeling paint on wood etc.. the rooms themselves were nice inside despite this. The building was beautiful and so were the grounds. Overall we had a pleasant stay."
