Eileen and Martin are a lovely couple with a lot of local knowledge and a great sense of humour. Great breakfast as well. They appear to have thought about everything you would need for your stay and gone out of their way to provide it. Would happily stay there again if our travels took us that way. Couldn’t fault Andrea and Ron at Toms of Tregaron. Very friendly, helpful and made you feel at home! Lovely cosy room with a quiet road. The room was also very clean and had all the appliances that we needed. Very comfy bed and nice decor. We were out most mornings before breakfast but the menu sounded lovely! Will definitely be booking again! :)

A lovely, good value stopover for us in Knighton whilst walking the Offa's Path. The property consists of a bedroom, private bathroom and a shared kitchen. The owner - who lives in a separate part of the house - was very helpful via messages before our stay and in person during our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed. The bedroom had one of the best complimentary tea/coffee trays we have ever seen. A continental style breakfast was also included! We would highly recommend.

I was given an extremely comfortable and clean room with a king sized bed, large shower ensuite, Towels and extras, TV, Bureau, Wardrobe, Settee with extra cushions, Books, Tea and Coffee making facilities although I was a single person.

Friendly staff. Excellent value.

Lovely accommodation booked at short notice to attend a local wedding. It was perfect and the everyone was so helpful even when we arrived far too early and needed to change! Super comfy bed! Thanks. Highly recommend. .

We came to Hay on Wye to look at the bookshops and stayed in the Swan as a central location. The hotel is an old building so the stairs creak a bit and the carpets are slightly frayed in places but the hotel was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable ( 2 arm chairs - a definite asset) and had a good view across fields. The food was very good and not expensive and the wine list was well thought-out. The dining room is elegantly laid out and there is a lovely garden for afternoon...

Room was lovely and clean , staff wear lovely, breakfast was delicious and plenty of parking spaces . Also beautiful views .

The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them.
