Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, very enjoyable reasonably priced evening meal. Excellent breakfast.
The room on the top floor accessed by a steep staicase, was spacious and very clean, slight downside the mattress was a little tired.
The location of the hotel was ideal very close to town centre.
Tip. The restaurant is very popular so book a table in advance.
Watch out for parking fines, paying by phone does not always work, one guest paid by phone and still got £100 worth of parking...

A very rare review – but our stay at Y Capel was absolutely faultless. Although a remote annexe of The Erskine Arms (on the same small street, opposite Erskine Arms) it is absolutely beautiful. A converted chapel with its own parking, one vehicle per room. It is ideally situated, right in the centre of Conwy. Walking distance from all the essential venues in Conwy. The building, the rooms and communal areas are all spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Our room (Number 10), was very, very...

Renovation going on at the moment but this did not impact on our stay, except that the room we stayed in needed some tlc. I'm sure that the issues we raised with the lovely staff will be attended to. We were offered another room but were happy to stay with the minor issues.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Plas Penaeldroch Manor. The hospitality was truly exceptional; the staff was warm, accommodating, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.
The entire property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Traveling with our two boys and our dog can sometimes be challenging, but the comfortable and spotless environment made our stay completely stress-free. It was the perfect base for our trip to Snowdonia. We highly recommend this place...

A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service.

Hotel staff are so helpful and accommodating. We had a really great two night stay with our little dog. Nothing was too much trouble, our room was pretty and super clean and the food was excellent. We ate from the full breakfast buffet in the bar area so we could have our dog with us on both mornings and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the dining room on the first night. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Attention to detail, everything was spotlessly clean. Good shower, nice towels. Refreshments in room.Friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast, cooked to perfection. Bar if you fancy a tipple.
My only slight negative was lack of blackout blinds or drapes, was awake very early as the room was flooded with light. But everything else spit on. Thank you Diane & Chris.

The hotel is a sizeable place, nicely decorated and the grounds are well maintained.
Website pictures of the rooms are generous... but no complaints.
Everywhere clean and tidy, room was comfortable (albeit a wee bit smaller than expected), parking was safe & easy and breakfast delicious.
Location is excellent. Beautiful part of the world.
The £97 for a nights stay with breakfast inc was good value, and we would definitely stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay. The property is situated just a small, enjoyable walk away from Llanberis. Amy and James were amazing hosts, always showing interest and being super helpful with their knowledge of the local attractions. Breakfast was amazing, the porridge proved great fuel for the Snowdon climb. The room was clean, comfy and had its own personality. Thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in completing Snowdon and travelling around North Wales.

We (2 couples) stayed in Ty'n Rhos Country House for the Easter weekend and decided to also stay for dinner 2 out of 3 nights. We were amazed by the comfort, service, and quality. The location was great, an easy drive to the nearby castles, Snowdon railway, and other historical sites. We took the train from London to Bangor and hired a car there. Hotel staff went over and above to cater for all our needs (e.g. finding car rental, food allergies). Even though we weren't lucky with the weather...
