Great hotel for those thinking of staying in Canterbury. Only 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Room was quiet, staff were very good. Ate in on all three evenings, and had some really nice food, even a carvery on one evening. Breakfast choices were also excellent.

Excellent place and easy to find conveniently situated very close to the coast and easy access to Ramsgate. Great correspondence from owner with easy to follow instructions for access to lodge. Definitely recommended. Only criticism really was parking although it stated on the booking:
Free offsite parking
Free self parking on site
Limited on-site self parking
Difficult to ascertain actually where this was? You can work it out, but would be helpful if a little more detail was explained in the...

Easy check in, helpful staff and comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent and dinner good however thought the wine was over priced as a glass was more than the cost of a bottle in nearby supermarket.
The tourist map was v good too as it highlighted a loop bus going to Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.from just across the road in sopping outlet.

Additionally, exploring independent hotels located further out can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience, as they usually tend to be cheaper.
