Cannot fault the twin bedded room we stayed in. It was very well decorated and very clean. The lady that checked us in (Nina) was excellent. Payable parking directly across the road, if not full.
Would definitely stay again.

A lovely hotel and restaurant close to the Lancaster canal and the M6 motorway. Food was excellent and breakfast was included in the price. The bed was very comfortable and the room was all to a high standard. We took a dog and they provided a bed, bowls and treats. There is plenty of free car parking. The staff were very helpful and attentive even though it was busy over the weekend we stayed.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Caton
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Caton is during January, October, and November, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town's historical landmarks, cultural sites, and natural parks. This duration allows visitors to explore the rich heritage and vibrant theatre scene, all offering great value for money. As an added bonus, prices may drop during these months, making it an even more budget-friendly choice for travellers.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Caton on Hotels.com, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Additionally, utilise the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you can be promptly notified if prices drop or rooms become available, making your last-minute getaway easier to book.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more economical stay at a hotel in Caton. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average rate. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you secure a more favourable rate.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Caton's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel situated further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found.
