A very good location for Gloucester and Cheltenham attractions. On top of a hill overlooking the M5,which was noisy and windy, but you could not hear anything in the room, which was warm and cosy, with a decent bath.

Character hotel bordering miles of countryside. Comfortable large bed on top floor, with good breakfast. had already eaten on arrival so cannot comment on evening meal. Top floor room did have sloping ceiling, but no issue. Plenty of free parking and lovely quiet setting.

I don't usually sleep well in hotels but Wharf House was so peaceful and comfortable I slept at least as soundly as I do at home. The room was clean and well equipped with nice touches of luxury toiletries, shortbread biscuits and a mini cafetière and proper coffee and herbal teas in the room. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and breakfast was delicious

Lovely room above a quiet pub. Serves tremendous food. Owner is lovely and will do his best to make your stay a special one. Nice touches like the tray of home made biscuits and fresh milk for the morning tea/coffee. Espresso machine in the room was great. Nice for a short break and not far from the M5 or the cotswolds

I stay here when on business in Gloucester as it’s such an amazing apartment. The communication from the host is outstanding and so easy to follow, the location is gorgeous right on the quays a minutes walk from the canal, bars bistros and restaurants. The parking is gated so super secure and the fact you get your own spot means there’s no worrying about whether you will get parked or not as I do at many of the hotels I stay at. The apartment block is quiet and the neighbours are all friendly....

The staff couldn't be any nicer, my room hadn't been cleaned and I was upgraded at no cost. I've stayed here a few times now and can't fault the staff, so friendly, caring and willing to help. Deserve a pay rise. Thank you

The room was small but very nice with an En-suite. There was also tea/coffee facilities plus a fridge allowing for them to cater a small breakfast for the visitor should they wish.
The bar and the food were outstanding and I cannot recommend eating here should you stay enough!! Wednesday is BOGOF night so if staying as a couple it’s a great deal!
There is a large area of seating outside the venue and this is perfect to enjoy a nice cold pint on a warm summer’s evening 🙂
