Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Karen and Graham made us feel so welcomed. Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location next to the beach and harbour. Also close to some great restaurants.

We had a wonderful night at Aaran Guesthouse, Hyacinth was an absolute gem, very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and cosy, with an amazing view of the bay. The fridge in the room was handy for keeping our drinks cool. The breakfast was very nice. We would love to stay again in the future.

Lovely little gem of a hotel. Within walking distance to everything we wanted. Melaney was lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us. The homemade banana bread in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb and there were plenty of options including the option to have takeaway breakfast prepared to eat on the beach. We will be back soon!

The room was excellent very clean and modern Bed was very comfortable The view from the room was great as you could see the sea Fridge in the room a bonus Breakfast very good the food well cooked You could have a takeaway that you can eat in the dining room, the host Mandy was so friendly and helpful A small bar in the dining room great to have a drink in the evenings Highly recommend

We were allowed in a bit early as we came by train. The owner Sue is super friendly as were her staff We were right on the beach and could leave the sash windows open for air and to hear the sea. Breakfast was hot and excellent and it’s right next to 2 restaurants with a corner shop behind. The main Sandy beach is only 10 minutes away and the shops are only 15 minutes away Perfect

Would highly recommend staying here! Tom and Melz couldn’t of been anymore helpful and the room was just fabulous! We will be back :)

Staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. Hotel in lovely position on SW coastal path. If you are not coming with children good to avoid school holidays. Amazing facilities for families bringing children. Lovely on site spa too.

Friendly and very helpfull staff. They even dried my wet clothes. Not perfect location but buses nearby

Owners were very friendly lovely modern b&b reasonable size rooms convenient for town about 10 minute walk good size breakfast.

This pub was a little gem, the staff and locals were lovely. On arrival we were informed they had a charity race day and band on… so we decided to stay put instead of going to the beach. We had a lovely time, real community spirit and great atmosphere. The pub looks newly renovated and the food was great too, we enjoyed the local band and maybe drank too much of the local ale.
