"The member of staff who welcomed us was a good guy. The room was shabby, carpet stained, ceiling in the bathroom paintwork cracked and flaked off. Stains on the wall behind the head area. The old wooden Sash Windows were in such poor repair they were useless in preventing any of the noise from the constant stream of vehicles and drunken revellers under our window. With exception of our room the whole hotel smelt of fried food. As there is no onsite parking we were advised to park in the Tesco...

"It's a basic room for a good price in the center of town. From booking it wasn't apparent that the accommodations were for two twin beds. The pub/restaurant is nice and just downstairs. There's no common area or parlor."

"Had a nice 1-night stay here, it's a nice traditional hotel which serves a superb breakfast. Our double room was large, with a huge bathroom. It was a little warm, but they can't control the weather! Recommended."
