"Had a wonderful stay at The Stables Ashbourne. The rooms are beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful luxury touches throughout. The hot tub made it extra special and the staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Perfect for a relaxing getaway in a great location. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!"

"The cottage is in need of a deep clean. The bed around the mattress was filthy with dust, hair and cobwebs underneath. The same behind the bedside cabinets. The vinyl sofa in the lounge smelt like a regiment of overweight sweaty men had spent a few summers sitting on it and gently marinating the vinyl until it stunk of stale sweat. We had to disinfect the entire thing with spray. It still smelt bad afterwards. One for the local tip I would suggest. "

"Good continental breakfast included, upgrade to full English for only £7.50 which was very good value. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, staff extremely welcoming and cosy traditional pub feel in the evening too. Would definitely recommend."

"The room was very clean with amenities you would need. The bathroom was well stocked, with lots of hot water. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were the best I have anywhere, you had a tray of cereal, fruit, fruit juices and pastries and an additional hot breakfast with lots of tea and coffee. There is free parking across from the family tree, you have to take care when crossing to it. Thank you for a lovely stay."
