"This is a real gem! Starts with a very warm welcome from the lovely staff and we were lucky enough to be there for bank holiday and live music and BBQ in the beer garden! Our rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and great beds! Best nights sleep! Also catered for the heatwave with fans provided and fresh drinking water for guests. Breakfast is fresh and cooked to order - delicious! Only downside was I didn’t stay long enough to be able to eat dinner with you too! Highly recommended"

"The location of the Globe is excellent and there is a buzz about the place that is attractive. The service is good and the staff are welcoming and informal. The room was small but comfortable though the bathroom was tired. Black mould around the tiles in the shower/bath and the shower attachment above the bath was broken (though the shower worked if hand-held). Parking not available but there is free parking outside the hotel if a place can be found in a busy area"
