"After reading a lot of negative views before we went I was worried what to expect. The cottage was, lovely very spacious and clean. A slight musty smell on entering and one of bathrooms but the place was spotless. Some of the paintwork could do with being refreshed but on the whole we had a lovely stay. The location and views were incredible. The staff at reception very helpful."

"This was SUCH a lovely stay and we will be returning next visit. Beautiful location, relaxing facilities, and friendly and helpful staff. "

"Great location, friendly staff, very dog friendly. Room was what we needed after several days wild camping and is what you would expect for an Inn and a building from the 17th Century. Food was also great, unsurprisingly the Salmon is fantastic."

"A truly unique experience and we were made to feel right at home. The whiskey porridge is next level and helped us recover after we attended a wedding close by. Early check in useful too 🙂"
