"It was a very nice room and a very clean hotel. However, be aware that there’s a transparent shower window into the bedroom so if you are not traveling with your spouse or partner, you might want to consider that. It’s somewhat opaque at the bottom but still awkward. I asked the front desk if there were any other room rooms and she said all the rooms are the same. "An excellent hotel, right in the middle of Interlaken - a stone’s throw from Interlaken West station (the hotel literally backs onto the station platform). It has beautiful, modern, comfortable rooms with all needs catered for including lovely balconies overlooking the mountains. "Lesson learned - Don't book a stay with a property that doesn't have a single person on-site or on-call to help. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "We love love loves this hotel! It was quiet and right on the lake so we had beautiful views, but super convienent to downtown Interlaken. The family room was incredibly spacious and the breakfast buffet every morning was terrific. Would absolutely stay here again!"
