The room was exceptionally clean and two fans were keeping the room very well aired under extreme temperatures in this unbearable heatwave.

"Hotels.com have asked me "How helpful was the staff?" - it's "were"!!!!! This is their media/marketing dept. Thankfully the Thatched Cottage were so much better and more efficient. It's gorgeous, need to do a bit of ducking but really efficient. Steve in the tearoom doing breakfast was superb and really enhanced the experience.
Wife thought the mattress needed changing but that's the only minor criticism. It's a 15th century cottage so be prepared - they didn't have 6'3" people in those days....
