"This hotel in right in the middle of the Gran Via, next to the Plaza del Calleo, so it is always crazy busy. Our room on the Calle Jacometrezo side, however was very quiet. It's a good base for getting around Madrid but it's a corporate hotel, so you won't get a lot of local feel. Although we generally like to stay in a neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay at Aloft Gran Via."

"The hospitality was superb. The decor was lovely very stylish. I loved that we were in an area that was accessible to public transportation. I was able to jump on the bus and go to grand Villa and Plaza de España. There was a local market down the street where in case you want to buy water and fruit and yogurt and just necessities that you may want in your room I highly recommend the hotel when we go back to Madrid I will be staying there. "

Great location and close to all the shopping/restaurant areas. Would recommend for anyone even Solo travelers. Super safe, right in front of the police station. "

"Friendly and helpful staff greeted us every time we came through the door. The hotel is quaint, but immaculately clean and well designed. Great beds, nice shower and plenty of space in the bathroom. Our room had an excellent view of the plaza and the views from the rooftop bar were even better. The metro station is directly in front of the hotel entrance and countless restaurants are only a short walk. This street is also Madrid's equivalent to Broadway and has all the theaters running major...

"Great sized room with a large double bed. Very clean, and great location , easy to get to all parts of madrid and the metro. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of cold meats, cheese fruits and breads, and cooked food including eggs and sausages. All staff very helpful. The interior is very art deco, a great hotel!"

The establishment could use more luggage lockers though, however, this is not to be seen as a negative comment at all, it is simply a suggestion. We really enjoyed our stay at Libere Madrid Palacio Real, it is clean, ideally located (walking distance from all the major attractions yet in a quiet street), and comfortable. You can't go wrong with it!"
