"Great overnig hr stay with Lovely food. Will be staying there again. Thanks!"

"Old Priory is a dated but very functional place to stay. Room was clean and bed we good. Staff was helpful and gave me an early breakfast at 7:30 on a Sunday. There is a public car park across the street, which I didn't see as it's not obvious. Limited parking in front of building. Room rate as reasonable."

"Excellent check in and greeting from reception. Room was adequate, if stuck in the 80’s but shower pressure was dreadful. Also shower is over the bath so be aware of this if you have mobility issues. Parking is good but a 24 hour fee of £5 has been introduced, partly redeemable at the hotel bar. Breakfast was good"

"Don’t be put off by the entrance lobby, needs a lick of paint, corridor and room we’re in excellent presentation, very clean and bathroom was very good, nice shower and well finished Could do with a sink plug in room 2 😄"

"Breakfast was good. Room was ok but a bit cramped. My main reason for the average review was that I found the stairs from the ground floor to the first floor somewhat steep and also had incomplete proper handrails - I found going up the stairs just about ok but coming down the stairs was more challenging (as the proper handrail only started at around half way down the stairs and the stairs themselves were fairly steep)."

"Clean friendly good food"
